I feel good that Zinn wrote this from this perspective because if he hadn't everyone in the modern day would have thought of christopher columbus as a person who founded america although he never made it here. If i were to tell the story of my life so far i would tell it from both perspectives of me and the average, everyday, normal person.

I feel really good about the way that Howard Zinn wrote this perspective because it compares how we have changed over many years and how we didn't change as well as America. Another reason I feel good about his writing is because he puts details that many other people never knew about and in which that can be a good thing or a bad thing it can also inform people to what we have accomplished in life over the many years and the struggles that people had to go through to manage to get this far in life. If I would have told the story of my life or other peoples lives I would compare and contrast to average day people and to my self.
