"I could do this technique a hundred times...it's a little addicting to take a simple motif, in this case it's forks, and turn them into a pattern. It's always a surprise! I think it ended up looking like an Art Deco design, very streamline and vertical."

So I enjoy paying homage to these magical concoctions of pigment and goo, and brush hairs and wood, and canvas, and paper...so I painted a tube of oil paint just laying on the table. To me, there is something so beautiful about art supplies, especially when they have been well used."
