Overview: A free online resource to run polls with your classes and receive results in real-time. It can be utilised through a range of methods (web-based and SMS) and embedded into Powerpoint presentations.

Uses: Conducting quick polls with yor classes to gauge opinions. Quizzes

Pros: Free and you don't need the students to sign up.

Cons: Must have network access. Overview: Computer-based application that can be used to make full use of an interactive whiteboard (but is still just fine with a projector). Used frequently by the LOTE teachers.
Uses:

- Timers
- Random Generators
- Quizzes
- Games
- Making full use of an interactive WB

Pros:

- Easy to set up
- Variety of activities
- Engaging for students with visuals and sounds
- Can download/share activities online

Cons:

- Free version can be a bit limited, but subscription isn't expensive
- Requires internet access to log in and open games (but can run without it as long as they stay up)

Uses:

-Meaningful editing of work
-An extra pair of eyes to scan the work

Pros:

- Easy to set up
- Free (there is also a paid version)
- Provides 'suggestions' and reasons for the suggestions. Fixes and educates at the same time.
- Can be used without logging in.

Cons:
- Requires internet access to log in and use
