    Its common in different articles that usually the title would be a rhetorical question which allows the reader to be drawn to the topic at the same time giving an idea of what the article is about. It makes the readers imagine they are there and make them want to go to the location. The facts allow the reader to develop a bit more of an understanding of the area and creates a sense of knowledge of the area and makes the reader want to investigate more about the location. Common aspects noticed in all of the articles is the common use of colorful and attracting  picture as a way to attract people to reading and finding out more - This method is used as a way to grab the attention of the reader and is very common amongst travel articles. Travel articles are usually written in a semi-formal way, using a lot of first person detailed imagery of the places to give a vivd picture of the aspects of the place whilst also relating to the people through first person narrative. Throughout the articles there are a lot of facts used  to balance out opinions written by the writer, giving it a realistic view of the place with another way the reader could relate to the narrator through personal experience. Along with the opinions, there also many statistics used to show the reader ways the place is special and why people want to go there, which usually seals the deal and is able to convince them to visit. The end of the article usually uses an extravagant closing statement so the reader could be left with something to think about after finishing it.

Common themes across these sites are courage in trying new things as a majority of the sites use dramatized anecdotal tellings of the experiences the author had at the place being discussed. These stories usually use several adjectives and descriptive phrases to provide the reader with a clear image of what the author was experiencing, or imagery. In addition to this, the authors of the articles usually used detailed descriptions of their emotions while maintaining a balance through facts woven into the stories. The register and formality of most of these sites were relatively informal due to the consistent use of conjunctions and simple vocabulary, however, the articles manage to maintain a professional tone because of the well-structured and cohesive organization of the text. Yet the most distinct feature common across several of the sites is the structure of the articles. Each article tends to have the text in a column stretching across about a third of the page. This text is then broken up by large images of a relevant setting that takes up a majority of the screen.     Some common site convention are the paragraph structures, most of these sites start with a hook, then proceed to talk about a specific place and end with a conclusion. Common aspects seen in these sites are bright images, big titles and headings and images to show off and make the audience see what they are talking about. It is seen that when the site is first opened the first thing that catches the audience's eye is the main picture of the location they are describing, this allows the audience to imagine what this place looks like before the author starts to describe it. There is a strong balance between facts and opinions, most sites talk about the history and story of a place as well as their personal experience.     A common pattern of travel cites conventions is a range of images, more specifically at the beginning of the article. Providing the reader of images of the attraction allows them to visualise what the writer is reviewing as they are explaining it. When you first open an article the huge image placed promptly at the top tends to draw the reader in and it gives them an idea on what to expect. That being said there are qualities that can make the aforementioned type of site far more intresting, such as the use of visual images. Furthermore, while words are powerful, its often helpful to be able to see the location, food, event etc being spoken on. It adds a first-hand perspective / experiance and allows the reader feel as though they have one foot into the country being described and the other out in reality - therefore making it far more persuading. In addition, to visual images, register and formailty makes all the difference when it comes to creating a travel site. Moreover, while being formal can portray a sense of credibility it is essential to maintain a balance, as solely formal writing is ineffective when attempting to encourage an audience through invoking a sense of excitement. Meanwhile the use of register can vary though after looking at the following examples its clear most utilize third person, though the use of a first person register tends to convey more thrill and build up a sense of anticipation within the reader. The most common ways to attract and catch the audience's attention are the use of descriptive imagery and the language of the senses, accompanied with real pictures of the places, in order to appeal to the customer both visually and with the other senses.
