Stand and Deliver is a film based on Jaime Escalante. He was an AP math teacher in East L.A. I learned how to multiply by 9s because of this movie.

PE. Hands down! I was the only kindergartener to touch the ceiling when we climbed the rope. I won the mile race in 4th grade. In 5th grade I gave Beth a bloody nose during dodgeball. She deserved it.

My favorite "movie" teacher is from the movie, "Matilda". Ms.Honey, Matilda's teacher, was displayed as a kind hearted person who loved each of her students for who they were. She always supported her students and encouraged them to be themselves even when the world, or Ms.Trunchbull, told them otherwise.

My favorite movie teacher is Coach Jones from Radio because of how much he does for Radio. This is kind of how I'd like to be when it comes to making my students' days a bit easier.

My favorite TV show teacher was the magic school bus teacher, Ms. Frizzle! She was obviously just so awesome. Because of her, her students were able to experience her lessons in ways that are unforgettable. She allowed the students to grasp the information in ways that might not be possible but that are more than effective.

My least favorite teacher held a 'mean girls' lunch and made us all miss recess so she could yell at us for 30 minutes about how we were horrible people.

My favorite thing about school was art class! I liked the break from the lessons and homework and I appreciated the ability to learn through creativity. I also loved my art teacher and she helped make my entire school experience amazing through her class.

I am blessed to say that any of my teachers from pre-k to 6th grade were amazing teachers, and deserve the title of my favorite teacher. They really cared about me and wanted me to do well. They always listened to my stories and laughed at my jokes. They were also very personal they always told their own strories about their lives that made us laugh and get to know them more.
