When inviting a friend out, teens are often expected to tell the friend’s parents where they are going and when they will return. While this custom may be changing, it is still common in many places. It is very similar. Before I hangout with people my mom would like to meet them. She would also ask me when will I be returning. But I really dont have many friends

My parents would ask where I'm going, who's going, and how long I would take. They would call or text me around every thirty minutes to an hour whenever I am gone. They would constantly ask where I am and if I am okay. They wouldn't really be strict if I say something that is totally different, but that's when they really want to check if I'm okay.

It is similar to my parents' rule. The first thing my parents would question me is where I'm heading to. Then who's going along with me, and at what time I return home. My parents are worried about me at these things. So yes in Latin America, it is very much similar to my parents.

Yes, this is very similar to my parents because my parents want to know everything. They are over protected and they say that they always want to meet my friends before going out with them to see if they are either a good influence or bad. Also, they like to my friends parents if I am going out with them just in case.

Through out my life I have made the adjustment of introducing new friends to my family. It is important my parents know who I am going to out with, along with additional information like where I am going out too. Which is why the traditions in Latin America are similar to my parents customs.

It is different for me. My dad and aunt only want to know who the people are, what time I'm going and coming back, and where I'm going if its a party. They don't really ask if I go to the movies and the mall and stuff like that, but they do need to know that I am going somewhere.

Yes this is very similar to alot of Latin parents , my parents will always want to know we’re i am and who I’m wit , or else they will think I’m doing something bad like they always think , they will want to now at what time I will be coming home ,

Yes, i think this culture is ending and maybe will start in the next generation. Kids literally tell their parents "I am leaving" and they don't ask where their kid is going. Very unsafe and anything can happen to the kid because they're maybe not old enough to be alone with no supervised vision.

This custom is still common in many places because it shows trust between the person and the parents. My parents would rules is very similar to their rules since my parents need to know the person first so they can trust them.

Yes y parents ask me where am i going , who am i going with , and what am i doing before I leave the house and i am always sure i keep in contact with them
