Fireworks can be lit in rain but they have to be in a special container that limits the amount of water that touches them.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Yes, temperature is a big factor in firework shows. Usually, the temperature gets cooler the higher you go into the atmosphere. But, sometimes the opposite can happen. This is called temperature inversion. Warm air can act as a lid and trap cooler air and smoke at the surface during a fireworks display. The smoke could block the view of fireworks and also cause spectators to start coughing.</div>]]></description>
