         <description><![CDATA[<div>Emily worked as a janitor for 3 years in&nbsp; her Highschool transition program. She operated and used a range of equipment (vacuum, brooms, &amp; mops). She is detailed oriented and has experience working alone or with a group.&nbsp; Though this is her only formal work experience she would love to&nbsp; work in an a “cool office” where people can dress in stylish clothes. Emily loves fashion and music. <br><br><strong><mark>UPDATE! Great news</mark></strong><mark>-</mark> Emily has landed a job working at design firm doing data entry, marketing blasts, and helping with general office tasks. Emily needs to learn the daily rhythm of her job that can change day to day. Emily is a visual learner and uses a&nbsp; range of technology (iphone and computer).<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Alex has 8 years of volunteer experience at the local foodbank. He is used to standing on his feet and working in a fast past setting. At the foodbank he had to ensure that all the canned goods had safe dates, and make sure that boxes were assembled.&nbsp; His dream is to pursuit his passion for art or work in a creative environment.&nbsp; Alex is a talented painter and loves to&nbsp; paint large murals. <br><br><strong><mark>UPDATE! Great news</mark></strong> - Alex got a job working for a window painting company. His talents can shine at&nbsp; businesses all over town. He’s excited because&nbsp; he works with one other person, who will drive to each site. Alex rides public transportation and he will need support getting to the main office, as well as organizing the different supplies for different jobs.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Ori has worked as a lobby attendant at the mall restaurant/movie theater. They worked during&nbsp; busy hours and were responsible for making sure people felt welcomed, and that the lobby was clean. They loved being around people. It was hard to navigate the space in their electric wheelchair. They are a sports fan and know any and all NBA facts. They really want to work 30 hours per week in a space where they could do jobs&nbsp; that don’t involve moving around in crowds in their wheelchair. <br><br><strong><mark>UPDATE! Great news </mark></strong>- Ori got a job with the sports announcers at the Moda Center! Ori is responsible for attending all of the games and taking down statistics live to share with the reporters. Ori stays in the same place for the duration of the game but navigating the large space to get to their location is an area they could use support with. Ori also needs some reminders around staying on track “here for work “ vs. “cheering on your favorite players.”<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Apollo&nbsp; watches cooking shows on YouTube, he loves to watch videos and recreate meals for his family. For major holidays, the family leans on him to&nbsp; make the&nbsp; main courses and set the table, but someone else for the clean up portion.&nbsp; He wants to make money and is “open to anything.” <br><br><strong><mark>UPDATE! Great news </mark></strong>- Apollo has been hired as a Sous Chef at a high-end hotel in Downtown Seattle! He is responsible for supporting the chef to prepare for dinner. The menu changes weekly, and the environment is fast past. Traditionally the recipes and menu are written down, which is difficult for Apollo who learns information in a different way.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>New instructions could be printed out for Apollo that replicate the visual process for learning that he has already demonstrated.&nbsp; An instructional sheet with pictures of ingredients or important steps in the process for him to reference for example.&nbsp; Maybe various recipes could be filmed and he could then study the film later at home as preparation for his day at work.&nbsp; Maybe audio recording could be made in a similar fashion, if that's helpful for him.<br><br>-Sean Niland</div>]]></description>
