Το όνομά μου είναι Τζίνα, είμαι μητέρα 3 αγοριών και ζω στην Καλαμάτα από το 2004. Γεννήθηκα στην Αθήνα όπου και έζησα για 26 χρόνια μαζί με την υπόλοιπη οικογένεια μου. Εκεί τελείωσα τις προπτυχιακές και μεταπτυχιακές μου σπουδές στη Φυσικοχημεία και στη συνέχεια μετακόμισα στην Καλαμάτα όπου άρχισα να εργάζομαι στο Τμήμα Τεχνολογίας Γεωργικών Προϊόντων του ΤΕΙ. Αυτή τη στιγμή εργάζομαι ως χημικός στο 5ο Γυμνάσιο Καλαμάτας.Έχω σπουδάσει και ψυχολογία, χωρίς όμως να εξασκώ το επάγγελμα. Παρόλα αυτά οι γνώσεις που απέκτησα σε σχέση με τη φύση και την ανάπτυξη των ανθρώπινων σκέψεων με έχουν βοηθήσει πολύ στην κατανόηση  συμπεριφοράς των άλλων ανθρώπων και ειδικότερα των μαθητών μου. Μια άλλη αγάπη μου είναι η ιστορία- αρχαιολογία. Την περίοδο αυτή μάλιστα φοιτώ στο τμήμα Ιστορίας, Αρχαιολογίας και Διαχείρισης Πολιτισμικών Αγαθών του Πανεπιστημίου Πελοποννήσου.
Μου αρέσει πολύ η φιλοσοφία και διαβάζω αρκετά σχετικά βιβλία, η μουσική, η ζωγραφική, το ποδήλατο και οι περίπατοι στη θάλασσα. 
Έχω πάρει μέρος σε αρκετά ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα erasmus και etwinning. Με ενθουσιάζει η επαφή με καθηγητές και μαθητές άλλων χωρών με τα  οφέλη μιας τέτοιας αλληλεπίδρασης να είναι πολλαπλά  όπως η γνωριμία με άτομα από διαφορετικά πολιτισμικά υπόβαθρα, η ανταλλαγή ιδεών και η συνεργασία στα πλαίσια υλοποίησης των έργων. Άλλωστε πολλοί καλοί μου συνεργάτες, πλέον και φίλοι, προέκυψαν από τέτοιες εμπειρίες.
Στα πλαίσια αυτά θεωρώ πως η εβδομάδα της GIG επιμόρφωσης μας θα σταθεί η αφορμή όχι μόνο να αποκτήσουμε γνώσεις και δεξιότητες σε σχέση με την παιχνιδοποιημένη μάθηση και τη μάθηση μέσω διλήμματος αλλά ταυτόχρονα να γνωριστούμε καλύτερα, να ανταλλάξουμε ιδέες και σκέψεις και ίσως να τεθούν οι βάσεις και για μελλοντικές συνεργασίες!
