During 7th grade and the beginning of 8th grade, I was really the only one who used a Nintendo switch to play games. All my friends had PS5s, Xbox’s, and PCs, while I barely survived on a Nintendo Switch. I still destroyed them though 😎.

After a lonely stay in India for a month, I came back to the US to start 8th grade. I wasn’t nervous, but looking forward to seeing my friends again. And looking back at it, I am happy I acted like that cause it made the transition into 8th grade smooth. Really, it at the beginning felt mostly like 7th grade, and it still dies at the end of the year. And writing this now at the end of the year, I have to say that 8th grade was easy. All my subjects were easy, with earning all A’s every quarter. Teachers were great, mainly how the best ones balanced out the annoying ones. I love science because of my friends and my teacher, even though I suck at science. I hated Comp and Grammer, mainly with the tedious amount of work. A lot has changed, from my lazy life in 7th to now a full schedule that is to come in 9th grade. On the 8th, I joined clubs, NJHS, did scholarship tests, enrolled in Summer Research, so I’m preparing myself for that. The past was nice, and the future will be exciting, and hopefully I will be doing the best.

Russia says it has captured another Donetsk village after Ukraine pulls back forces in the east. Ukraine and Russia has been a problem since 6th grade. Everyone worried and supported Ukraine in the first year, but died down so fast and now no one really mentions about it that much anymore. I hope this unnecessary conflict ends and people stop dying and cities stop being destroyed.

Why countries are choosing to build new cities in places at high risk of worsening floods. Floods are more and more common because of the ice caps melting in the poles. This causes the water levels to rise and then evaporate and cause an abundance in rain. We are now facing our mistakes in the past and I hope that we can restore our earth and revert our effects on climate change.

A lot outside of school has changed since 7th grade. I’ve grown my music taste and now I know not only music artists and popular songs, but explore new artists and understand their lyrics. I’m very happy about my progress so far and I hope I’ll have an insane music taste by the time I am reading this in the future. Another thing that has changed is sports. I don’t do sports all the time, but I care about it and I am interested. I got into boxing and basketball, very different sports I know, but they are fascinating. The boxing styles and how much damage people can do is mind-blowing. The technique, accuracy, and team-play of basketball makes it fun with friends or just by yourself. I also hope I play one of these regularly and become athletically active. The final thing is my friends; I’ve grown closer and I’m not always at home anymore. I go out to their houses or meet up at places; I’ve gone to a Heat game and went to a States Tourney for S&D with some of them. I’ve grown much as a person both mentally and physically, and I finally hope I can grow to be someone who I will be satisfied with.

Go to school, do homework, play video games, play with papa, yell at my family constant to insanity, and sleep.

Going school to meet my friends, PE class, and playing Fortnite.

I don’t know. It’s good.

A bad thing because they can take information from you.

No.

It made me an online student and I hated it.

Call my mom and dad, and reading books.

Technology is good in a sense, but we are too dependent on technology. It is important for me as my family is far away and I need technology to stay in contact with them.

AI is very helpful in the medical field, but if we don’t use it carefully, it would be dangerous.

The candidates for politics are scarce and I’m worried about the election in November.

COVID affect me emotionally; I couldn’t see my family for 2 years and some of my family members died.

Being positive, hoping for everyone’s health to be great and hope that humans beings don’t differentiate from each other and get along together.
