These days felt insanely long, like 2 days in 1. Is there no way to just have each period for an hour without double the transitions, so the halls would be more controllable as well?

This schedule is brutal on everyone involved. Admin sometimes would come around with donuts and stuff for appreciation and that used to really brighten my day. Maybe next time testing happens, the school could do something like that

Time for Breakfast

Since each testing time ended early for the Language Arts portion, we saw that time for breakfast should have been allowed before the test began. Suggestion to start the test after initial time of 15 minutes. Clean up food trash, then everyone start after cleanup time. Food is key for students for energy and cognitive thinking. Let's give them their best chance to perform well.

Check Expiration Date of Treats

The treats that were given to the testing students had mold on it. Please check the expiration date of any donated treats for the kids. They were excited to receive the treats and we should continue to do so for them. Some of the students stated that they are paranoid to eat any other treats from the testing days.

Smooth testing

My team loved the schedule. The students went directly to their test location, they ate their breakfast, and we were ready to go. The testing team was fantastic. All of the materials (chrome books, snacks, pencils, etc) were in the room ready at the start.

I was nervous about the schedule, but the kids did great. The supervision and support in the halls and by the testing team make everything run effectively. I like having time to see them for testing and again for class.

Thank you for keeping the 7th and 8th graders off the hall during testing. It helped to keep our kids focused. They did not want to get out to go to the bathroom, they used the testing time wisely, and they came to class on time!

I LOVED the schedule. I have co-taught and although it was an altered schedule, I was able to get more work out of all of the student because they only had 30 minutes and could actually focus on the instruction. I had less students asking for passes to leave the room and the students were better behaved.

I would have liked more support on the 7th grade hall during our transitions because when the students would transition, they were really loud and I knew that there was 6th graders testing at the end of the hall. I saw Mrs. Thomas, but she looked like she was assisting in the test locations so she shouldn't have to stop to address 7th graders. It would be beneficial to have someone else at the end of the glass hall to ensure that 7th graders were not going down to 6th grade.

I thought the snacks were a great idea. I hope the parents that sent in the snacks were thanked. Our group had chips and they were fresh and crunchy, certianly not expired or "moldy"
