I am a middle school Band director. I have 7 classes with about 230 students total.
Every middle and high school student in our school district has a Chromebook. In my class we have discussion boards, playing tests, sight reading exercises, and many other things accessible to my students. I am always trying to find new ways to "spice up" the way we use technology in my classroom.

This picture is from my student's winter concert last month. When I'm not teaching I love spending time with family and friends, training horses, and of course making music.
I am a first year teacher who is still very much learning what works and does not work for myself and my students. I teach middle school music in Chester PA. I see 28 classes a week with about 700 scholars total. Our school regulates progress in Math, Social Studies, ELA, and Science through a program called iReady. This makes access to the few chromebooks our school has incredibly difficult, especially for the tech teacher. However, we just got access to about 15 keyboards for my classroom, and I'm very excited to implement them in my curriculum. I also have started up a choir for my school, which is very exciting!
This picture was from our winter concert :)

I am a first year teacher and the first music teacher at my current school (I teach grades 6-12) where I teach choir and music theory. I have 176 students across 6 classes.
My students have access to laptops, though we have yet to implement their usage in class (that will happen this semester for composer projects). Students are allowed two days per week to listen to music on their phones as an incentive as our school-wide is that cell phones are not allowed for general or personal use. I want to find new ways of implementing technology in my classroom that will also keep my director and deans happy.
Below is a random picture before our holiday showcase. :D

Hello all! My name is Kaci (pronounced Cassie) Hoverson-Boehmer. I live in the thriving metropolis of Gillett Wisconsin, and teach in the even more thriving Suring Wisconsin, both in very rural Northeastern Wisconsin. This year, I have taken on a larger role in my music department, due to the teacher shortages in Wisconsin. I am currently teaching our entire elementary music program (K-5), and I teach 5th grade band, 6th grade band, 7th/8th grade combined band, and a 9-12 high school hand. All students in 2nd-12th grade have access to Chromebooks, and are able to take their Chromebooks with them after they graduate. Last school year I taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade computers, since I'm on of the few technology buffs at my school. I am sure learning tips and tricks to implement technology within all of my music classrooms will be very much appreciated by my administration and school board, since our Chromebooks were provided through various referendums.
Outside of teaching I am a volunteer firefighter and have many many pets. Always on the go!
Below is my high school band getting ready for our Labor Day Parade performance.

Hello fellow UF MME students! I am Dan Luddy from West Hartford, Connecticut. I teach bands and music theory at a small private high school here in CT. Like most of us, I use some technology in the music classroom but am also looking forward to learning innovative ways to enhance teaching through technology. Currently, we use iPads in my music classes (every student at the school has one) for their video and audio recording capabilities, sheet music streaming, composition tools such as Noteflight, and specific applied music apps such as tuners and metronomes. Sometimes, students are required to submit YouTube videos of playing assignments for ensemble classes, such as scales and excerpts. Every student must also have Spotify, as I regularly post playlists for listening assignments. Here is a picture of me conducting the finale of our Christmas concert a few weeks ago:
