I have worn many hats in the education field; I started as a substitute for a childcare center as I earned my associates degree in child development. After that I moved my way up to an assistant teacher and eventually lead teacher. I eventually decided to go back to school to gain a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I switched companies that I worked for a few times until landing me in current position as a preschool teacher for head start. I love working for a company that provides support for low income families and trying to get children off on the right foot in their education. I have become extremely passionate about working with children with traumatic backgrounds. I have learned a great deal about my own experiences and ways to support children in their education. I love binge watching things on Netflix and other online streaming sites. My interests range from things like supernatural and Doctor Who to older things like Star Trek and Star Wars. I love to attend conventions.
