Danes  were built a Narva Castle in the 13th century.It wasn´t very big and keep wasn´t high.The stone walls protect only small area around fortress.Protection was no the best.
In 14th century the castle became wider and tower change the form.Before it was cone shaped, however in 14th century keep became a cubic form.For better defense the wall area expanded. Respectively protection  became more reliable .
By 16th century the fortress became more powerful. Castle area became more spacious. Keep changed a form again. It was triangular. There were new extensions and one more bridge and ravine.

This battle happened under the Narva on 30 November 1700 was an early battle in the Great Northern War. In this battle, the two sides suffered losses. the Russian army was superior to the Swedes, but the Swedes managed to win.
