Will this mean that nurses will be faced with dilemmas when they are not sure on how to care and support for individuals with learning needs?

When someone suffers from severe migraines it can affect their social and work life and their education. Any sort of treatment could benefit people who suffer with migraines frequently and a 'life changing' drug could really improve their quality of life but the NHS doubt whether it's good enough or worth the money.

Should the use of e-cigarettes be encouraged among smokers?

There have been studies showing that e-cigarettes can be just as addictive or cause more damage to someones health. In the news recently a e-cigarette exploded in someones face and resulted in damage to their teeth and face. I feel this is interesting as people do not know the effects of e-cigarettes and don't see that they are not a healthy alternative. This may add more strain on the NHS due to more potential health conditions caused by e-cigarettes and smoking.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-49689893
This article interests me because it shows the crisis of mental health amongst all of society, but in this article partially teenagers going to university. The article shows how students are struggling as they go back to university. Also, it interested me how a ex minister said 'universities by law should meet mental health needs of students'. the post also who universities soul deb more responsible for spotting students that are struggling. it also says 'the NHS must provide effective mental health care to students'. this topic shows how mental health is a priority to be looked into more and more support should be made aware so individuals know where to get support and that there are services to help them.

Midwives failing to check babies heart rate is the biggest cause of birth blunders in the NHS

we put our trust in midwives and believe that they will do their best to ensure that our babies are in the best health they can be. failing to watch the babies heart rate may lead to complications during birth and could potentially harm the baby e.g. if baby lacks oxygen to the brain this cause the baby to have cerebral palsy.

It enables me to have an understanding of the impact of alcohol misuse and what impact is has to domestic violence during the incident. it shows that offenders have told them that their alcohol problems have been ignored by frontline workers to the extent that some are forced to lie about or exaggerate illegal drug use to get any kind of help.

nursing and midwifery job vacancies

this article interests me because the amount of nurses and midwifes that the NHS has is a growing concern. this article caught my eye because I think it is important to try and encourage people who are studying to become a midwife or nurse to work in the NHS, by recording the amount of vacancies submitted helps keep track. I chose this article because I'm interested in becoming a midwife but don't want to go to university so I am looking at alternative ways. this may also be a reason others don't want to become nurses or midwives so I think this article is important.

This interests me as myself and my mum have done many fundraisers for different charities in the last two years with my mum also completing bike rides like these. i believe it shows how the nurses in the nhs system are so devoted to their patients they are willing to raise the money for new equipment by themselves regardless of the help from the government. It shows that these nurses are super passionate about their job and enjoy helping others outside of work.
