I think that waste is like if something don't have a value so if you waste something, you will be assuming that this thing doesn't have a value(). If you don't recycle something that will take hundreds of years you are wasting that thing, so we should recycle to help nature (ecosystem). We are wasting to much things and throwing them on the ocean like plastic and glass. If we continue throwing this on ocean some day I think that no more beaches will exist ().

I think that this is a really complex topic and it is different for everyone(social and economic). Waste also takes a long time to decompose and a big part of it is in our oceans and it is moving around the world(environmental).

The question of waste isn't simple because its more like a concept because people have different perspectives (Social). Things that influences the concept of waste is lifespan, if it's single-use or multi-use, if it's recyclable or it's non recyclable, if it's organic, or non-organic and what type of object it is.
Disposing of waste requires a lot of founding and resources. Many waste disposals plans are regulated by the government, which people are funding. Therefore only high-income countries can afford quality waste disposal (Political and Economic).
Waste disposal can have a big impact to the environment, which people created technologies to take the methane produced and turn into energy (Technological and Environmental).

I think the question waste is not simple because it is an open question and it can mean different things to different people maybe if it was a bit more specific. I think waste is not a simple question because in the future we wont be able to accumulate more trash, so we have to find another alternative. (Economic) (Technology) Because some of the country don't have a good quantity of money or technology to have a good recycling, so we keep accumulating trash, and this can cause a lot of impacts

First por all, what is waste and not waste? One men’s trash is another man’s treasure (social & economic). The concept of waste is a or multiple objects with no use to you that can be discarded. Therefore not all the trash/waste is non-utilizable, some of them can be used in another way different from the original concept meant to be used for.
Another important thing to be mentioned is how low-income areas and high-income areas deal with the waste produced by the local population, places with low-income like Thailand use the cheapest way to separate the utilizable wastes out of the non-utilizable, female migrant worker (technology & economic).

I think waste is a concept of aesthetic, the only reason we don't keep garbage in our homes is because its "ugly". Places like the United Kingdom and USA have the resources (economic) to recycle garbage but places like India and china have a smaller chance of recycling rather than just keeping in landfills. Big and popular countries just don't want garbage because its ugly.
Waste also takes hundreds of years to decompose so none of those reasons are a simple matter. (environment)

(technology)
