They prevent this by hunting, and trading with other countries for food. They get their water from oases found in the desert.

Another landform in Saudi Arabia is the Asir Mountains. The Asir Mountains are a group of mountains near the Red Sea. The Asir Mountains are one of Saudi Arabia's more moist and humid areas. This is important because almost all of Saudi Arabia is desert so living near this area can be a lot less hot.
