Thanks for this post. The Leadership team have discussed this point and collectively offer the following advice...

The programs you've seen today are offered at our Deputy Principal, Principal and Directors Induction conferences over the last 3 years (pitched to the appropriate audience). Therefore we would hope that your senior exec is aware and supportive of these programs. We would also advise you to check in with your Principal about what you've learned and what you might like to initiate. You might also have a TPL sharing session to table your ideas at exec meetings. 

Another option is to identify a need in your school plan, based on evidence, and put forward a proposal to introduce an initiative to your senior exec team. If you're willing to lead something which will drive student improvement and whole school improvement, it would be unlikely that a principal wouldnt support you.
