I incorporate crafts into my lessons as often as possible for this reason. In my work environment, I am a part of a wonderful team where teachers collaborate about lesson planning, activity organization and overall goals. There is collaboration with parents through our PTA and even feedback from pupils. Our school also works closely with another International school in the area in order to collaborate on curriculum development between schools.
