The background brings the eyes to the face and the light makes it pop. It visually looks like me and the shading is very smooth which makes it look more realistic.

There were so many little details that I didn’t understand at first and needed someone more experienced to walk me through the 

The collage was very difficult for me because I don’t do photo editing very much and I just couldn't get some of the things to line up. I had to take a step away from it for a while and look at different ways to achieve the look I was going for. It isn’t my best project, that’s for sure, but it did teach me a lot of useful skills in photoshop that I used in later projects like the comic portrait.

My mom has always been so strong and she inspires me every day. She’s taught me how to fight through the pain but also it’s okay to not be okay sometimes and you can always ask for help.

It’s inspired by a Dungeons and Dragons fight that happened in the campaign I’m in currently. It was awesome and made me want to illustrate what I imagined while it was happening.

I think I conveyed the most emotion in my final project with the lighting and expressions on the characters faces as well as their poses. It gives off a creepy and decrepit aura which I love and I’m really proud of how the dramatic lighting made it look. The expression on the clown mannequin has to be my favorite.

I feel like I didn’t learn much that I couldn’t on my own because the programs we were using were meant to be intuitive. It’s also a lot of personal preference because I personally enjoy drawing and painting aspects of art more than photo manipulation. Additionally, the collage was also not my favorite but I feel it challenged me a lot and taught me about a more difficult program I struggled with in the past. Again, a lot of this is personal preference.

I was bored so I decided to just make something really stupid looking hehe.
