Common Thread- They are both very similar because they both involve a school shooting but in the novel Nineteen Minutes there is only one guy with a gun.  Yesterday's reading was very intriguing.  I loved how they went back in time to when Lacy had baby Peter and how Alex was pregnant and had Josie.  I was also pretty shocked to find out that Alex wanted to abort Josie at first.

I really loved the flashback of yesterday's reading because it gave a much larger insight to the characters than in the previous chapter. Yesterday's reading shocked me a little bit because I didn't think that Alex did not want her baby at first and that the baby's father was her law professor. Yesterday's reading was interesting to see the back story of Alex and to learn a bit about Lacy as well.
