中國建設史上里程最長、投資最多、施工難度最大的跨海橋樑。

港珠澳大橋工程於2009年12月15日開工建設，2017年7月7日主體工程全線貫通，2018年10月24日9時正式通車運營

港珠澳大橋啟用後，大幅縮短了來往香港（包括屯門）、珠海、澳門三地的交通時間，行車時間僅需一小時左右，而且不需要再繞經虎門大橋；而港珠澳也會形成「一小時生活圈」，對粵港澳大灣區發展有象徵意義。大橋的使用者進入香港後亦可經香港的快速公路，包括深港西部通道前往深圳

Before the the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, travel these three places take four to five hours. But after the building the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, it only take one hour to travel. Citizens can traval more easily and it makes the transportation more convenient. They can leisure in the Great Bay Area within one day and back home before night. So it makes 一小時生活圈.

Since it is becoming convenient to travel through, citizens can travel more frequently. They will consume much, so it boost the economy and benefits to the tourism industry.

According to the history, there are frequent floods in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and its tributaries, which floods villages and farmland. After the construction of the   三峽工程, it greatly reduces the chances of flooding, and improved people's livelihood. 
Besides, the water can be used for irrigation and generate electricity. To addition, if there is less flooding in China, the citizens don't have to worry about the flooding problem, they can live more comfortable, and wouldn't be affected by those problem, and increases their quality of life. In another way, it also provide a clean water soure to the people, which is also a susaintable development goal.

due to the flooding problem before, the upper area of China may not have much infrastructure. But after building the Dam, more facilities could be built. 
It also saves a lot of money. China had to put a lot of money into flooding problem, but after the building the Dam, China could use those money to other kinds of facilities.

本報電  4月16日，山東港口青島港正式宣布，在“德翔佛森堡”輪作業中，自動化碼頭橋吊單機作業效率達到44.6自然箱/小時，再次刷新由其創造的自動化碼頭裝卸效率世界紀錄。

　　當前，部分海外傳統碼頭因疫情風險而被動關閉，青島自動化碼頭零接觸、低風險、高效率的科技優勢被進一步凸顯。在山東港口青島港自動化碼頭的作業現場（見圖），人員足不出戶，生產場地空無一人，AGV導引車自動運行，人員聚集和接觸風險大大降低，徹底顛覆了傳統人工碼頭生產管理模式。

　　據介紹，單機最高作業效率44.6自然箱/小時，是全球自動化碼頭平均效率的兩倍以上，已全面超越傳統人工碼頭。這樣的效率不僅增強了山東港口以及青島港在全球的商業運營競爭優勢，也為世界自動化碼頭的發展貢獻出“中國方案”。
