Given his knowledge of active threats in a school environment, Zach chose to transfer from patrol to the SRO program.  During Zach’s 15 years as a school resource officer, school officials and colleagues have coined the term “Officer Duer Story Time” because of the countless hours he spends counseling, mentoring, and teaching students in need.  

Zach is currently the President of TASRO (Texas Association of School Resource Officers). He remains dedicated to training officers across the great state of Texas to keep our staff and students safe.

Since 2017 she has volunteered with Ransomed Life of Texas where she co-authored 2 medical/health professional training presentations on Human Trafficking, ultimately approved by the Executive Commissioner of the State of Texas. These presentations meet the license renewal requirements for Texas healthcare providers, as mandated by House Bill 2059.

Although Michelle continues to work as an RN, part time, she continues her volunteerism with Ransomed Life of Texas by presenting State Approved Human Trafficking trainings across the state.

A Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified School Counselor, Dr. Duer earned her Doctorate in Executive Leadership in Mental Health and Human Services from Houston Christian University. ​Dr. Duer has spoken to thousands of educators, advocates, and law enforcement professionals across the country. ​Beyond her professional roles, Dr. Duer is a proud law enforcement wife and devoted mother of two teens.

At ESC 6, he spearheads critical instructional design initiatives, including working with Operation STEER—a specialized school bus safety and emergency response curriculum—and the expansion of rigorous CDL Class B training frameworks. Combining a background in Psychology and History from Texas Tech University with advanced instructional development, Robert delivers actionable, high-impact strategies designed to protect students and empower transportation fleets.

Throughout her career, Jamie has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to student health and school safety. She previously served in multiple leadership roles within Brenham ISD, including Director of Health & Safety and COVID-19 Response Leader. Her athletic training experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Sports Medicine and Head Athletic Trainer in Bryan ISD.  Jamie is a voice on topics such as emergency management, pediatric sports medicine, and interdisciplinary communication.

Jamie Woodall remains committed to advancing safe and healthy environments in schools—ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Throughout his professional career, he has remained committed to promoting a culture of safety, risk management, and continuous improvement within CTE programs. His experience spans classroom instruction, program administration, student leadership development, and workforce preparation, providing him with a unique perspective on safety practices across multiple career pathways.

Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in General Agriculture from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Agriculture in Agricultural Development from Texas A&M University, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Agriculture from East Texas A&M University. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Career and Technical Education at Auburn University, with an emphasis in Agricultural Teacher Education.

As both an educational leader and lifelong advocate for student success, Travis is passionate about equipping educators with practical strategies that enhance safety, strengthen instructional programs, and prepare students for successful careers in today's workforce.
