Eurie M. Tula🌝1. What IS PHYSICAL EDUCATION? -Physical Education is a learning processthat focuses on knowledge, attitudes and behaviors that are imperative for students to embrace a lifestyle of health and fitness. One of the greatest opportunities to influence the nation's health and increase physical activity is to become a physical educator.2. WHAT IS PHYSICAL FITNESS? -Physical fitness is a state of health and well-being and, more specifically, the ability to perform aspects of sports, occupations and daily activities. Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest.3. WHAT ARE THE COMPONENTS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND GIVE THE MEANINGS OF EACH COMPONENTS?-Ther are a five components of physical fitness the 1. cardiovascular endurance-Cardiovascular endurance is a measure of how well you can do exercises that involve your whole body at moderate to high intensity for an extended time. Improving your cardiovascular endurance can make it easier for you to carry out your daily tasks. 2. muscular strength -Muscular strength is the amount of force you can put out or the amount of weight you can lift. Muscular endurance is how many times you can move that weight without getting exhausted.3. muscular endurance flexibility -Flexibility refers to the range of movement that your body performs. Having muscles that are flexible helps prevent injuries and soreness after physical exertion. Muscle endurance isthe ability of muscles to perform continuous physical exertion over an extended period of time.4. Flexibility -Flexibility is the ability of a joint or series of joints to move through an unrestricted, pain free range of motion. These soft tissues include: muscles, ligaments, tendons, joint capsules, and skin. 5. body composition -‌Body composition is a term used often by doctors and health professionals. It refersto the percentage of fat, bone, and muscle in your body. Doctors use body composition to see if you're at a healthy weight for your individual body.4. What challenges do having a PHYSICAL EDUCATION subject face right now (talking about online class)? How do you plan to address these challenges?-It is challenges to make video presentation about the task given by the teachers Procrastination or lack of motivation to studyMaking dance video'sVideo reportsStruggling for the students to adjust in distance learning. How do you plan to address these challenges? -To make time management to do the activities and to do advance studying to cope teachers questions.

Muscular Strength

This is the “power” that helps you to lift and carry heavy objects. Without muscular strength, your body would be weak and unable to keep up with the demands placed upon it. The way to increase strength is to train with heavy weights, working in the 4 – 6 or 12 – 15 rep ranges. The heavier the weight, the fewer reps you should perform!

2. Muscular Endurance

Endurance is the ability of your muscles to perform contractions for extended periods of time. Rather than just lifting or carrying something for a few seconds, the muscles are used for minutes. The way to increase strength is to train with light weights, working in the 20 – 25 rep range. Working with lighter weight will train the muscle fibers needed for muscular endurance, and the higher rep range leads to a longer period of exercise.

3. Cardiovascular Endurance

Cardiovascular endurance is your body’s ability to keep up with exercise like running, jogging, swimming, cycling, and anything that forces your cardiovascular system (lungs, heart, blood vessels) to work for extended periods of time. Together, the heart and lungs fuel your body with the oxygen needed by your muscles, ensuring that they have the oxygen needed for the work they are doing. The Cooper Run (running as far as possible in 12 minutes) is a test commonly used to assess cardiovascular endurance, but many trainers use the Step Test (stepping onto a platform for 5 minutes). Both are accurate measures of a subject’s cardiovascular endurance.

4. Flexibility

Flexibility is one of the most important, yet often overlooked, components of physical fitness. Without flexibility, the muscles and joints would grow stiff and movement would be limited. Flexibility training ensures that your body can move through its entire range of motion without pain or stiffness. To test your flexibility, lean forward and try to touch your toes. Those with good flexibility will usually be able to touch their toes, while those with limited flexibility will not. The sit and reach test (sitting on the floor and reaching toward your toes) is another good way to assess your flexibility. The more flexible you are, the closer you will come to touching your toes and beyond.

5. Body Fat Composition

Body fat composition refers to the amount of fat on your body. For example, a 100-pound person with a 25% body fat composition will have a lean body mass of 75 pounds.

Nohaimen Dimasangkay abid
1. What is physical education?
-Physical Education is "education through the physical". It aims to develop students' physical competence and knowledge of movement and safety, and their ability to use these to perform in a wide range of activities associated with the development of an active and healthy lifestyle

2.what is physical fitness?
-Physical fitness is to the human body what fine tuning is to an engine. It enables us to perform up to our potential. Fitness can be described as a condition that helps us look, feel and do our best. ● Physical fitness involves the performance of the heart and lungs, and the muscles of the body.

3. What are components of physical education and give the meaning of each components?

To qualify as fit:

Men must have a body fat composition lower than 17 percent

Women must have a body fat composition lower than 24 percent

The average man tends to have about 18 to 24 percent body fat, while the average woman has 25 to 31 percent body fat
