This relates to transcendentalism by relating the human life to nature. It thinks that if nature is going to keep growing humans have to keep growing as well because in a way we are all connected. Nature, God and humans

Great people were misunderstood but they didn't use that as an excuse, they worked even harder till they achieved greatness (After their death).
