I would also get some suitable music playing in the background to get the students into the 'feels' . I woukd first talk to the students on the folk story and then proceeding with the ugly duckling and tell them how it is similar and how it is exactly the same but in a different context. This is to give an idea for the students , especially for students in rural areas as they are not exposed to such stories in their lives but they do have their own local folk stories they've heard before.
