I thought he had an interesting sound that mirrored the sound of many American rap artist. French has always been an interesting language to me and this was a cool way to explore the rap scene in France. HE started writing and rapping in his early teens. Julien took inspiration from American rappers, like Eminem and 50 Cent, as well as French rappers. He first started releasing music under then name Schneider, then in 2014 chose the name SCH. His rise to fame began in 2015 when he appeared on another rapper, Lacrim’s, mixtape. His first solo project was released in November of 15 and went double platinum and peaked at number 2 on the French charts. He very quickly became one of the biggest rappers in France with a large fan base crazy about his cinematic lyrics. He was signed to Def Jam Records in France but has since been signed to Capitol Records.
