A) Based on my VARK score, I am a very strong aural learner.

Visual - 1
Aural - 16
Read/Write - 1
Kinaesthetic - 1

B) Out of all of the paper airplanes, “The Dart” was the airplane I found easiest to make. Listening to the instructions made it easier for me to follow, and The Dart, being for auditory learners made it simpler for me to complete the airplane. Yes, the delivery method used matched the learning style I scored on the VARK quiz.

A) A short term goal of mine is to make it into a sports team, preferably volleyball. A medium term of mine is to get over 80% in math, because math is a struggle for me sometimes depending on the topic, and it would be a great success for me to achieve.

B) A long term goal I have is that I hope to receive honour rolls this year, because I want to make my parents (my dad especially) proud, and it'll have a great influence on me, showing that I'm strong in school, and I'm focused on my work.

C) When it comes to financial literacy, a strategy I plan to use in the future to meet a financial goal is to save money by eating lunch food from home instead of the cafeteria/school lunch food. By doing this, I can save quite a bit of money since school lunch is quite the price, and I can save up for better things, like school necessities or just necessities in general. This year, I don't really have a job source of income yet, so saving money is probably the way to go, even if it's as little as saving lunch money. If I ever forget my lunch or didn't prepare my lunch on time, I would go for the cafeteria lunch, but only if it's an emergency.

A) One way I will demonstrate that I am a valuable member of my TA is that I will listen to our TA, Ms. Vecchiarelli, and from there complete what she asks the class to do with ease and understanding. Listening to the teacher no matter what the circumstance is extremely important to have knowledge on the lessons focused on, which is why doing this will demonstrate that I am a valuable member of my TA.

B) One strategy that will help me succeed in the Self-Directed learning system is to keep myself motivated by staying consistent with my organization skills. Personally, being organized is one of the ways that actually work and help to keep me in task with all my work, and if I don't keep this up, everything could go downhill. Therefore as I drift into the Mary Ward community and its learning style, I have to keep organization in mind.

C) One way I plan to manage my time in school effectively is similar to how I'll succeed and keep up in the Self-Directed system, but also a tad bit different. Yes, being organized will help me manage my time in school but doing my homework early and making sure my units are completed will help a ton more. I definitely know that procrastination will kick in one day, or even everyday, but at the end of the day I'll have to finish all my work in order to then be successful in life in the future. In order to fight procrastination, I will have to come to a realization of how important school really is.

A) Based on the clubs/teams offered in Mary Ward, I plan to participate in the Best Buddies club because it gives me an opportunity to work with special ed teens and become friends with the ones who don’t really get to experience the same life as we do. It feels great knowing you made another friend at the end of the day, and by joining this club, I’ll have that “feel good” moment.

One way I plan to promote positivity by standing up against injustice in the Mary Ward community is to use my voice to express my opinions and thoughts about injustice. I don't really know what goes in the Mary Ward community just yet, but looking at schools generally, a lot of injustice that goes on relates to the LGBTQ+ community and using slurs that are not to be said are unfortunately very common. I feel like not enough people actually use their voices to speak up about this topic, and instead they just repost a simple picture on social media. Although this helps, however actually hearing one’s voice definitely changes people’s perspectives on injustice even more. Furthermore, I would talk about how wrong injustice is in today's society and how it's been going on for so long now. Because it's been going on for so long, I expect that in the 21st century, people's opinions and perspectives are smarter. Therefore, this is how I would plan to promote positivity.

A) My quote/saying is "No goals, no glory".

B) Ever since the 4th grade actually, I've always had this quote in mind whenever I do something out of my comfort zone or something that I think I cannot complete. Also, this quote speaks to me further because it tells me that without my goals and my hard work, my glory won't be achieved. Overall, this quote makes me feel motivated and productive.

- I will study as early as possible, or whenever I get the chance to so if any questions or concerns pop up, I can get them addressed quicker. Doing this will help me manage my time regarding homework, and just in general it can help me understand my work more.

- I will make sure I stay focused on school work and eliminate as many distractions in my workspace as I can so I can get things done more efficiently. If I take my phone away from my workspace and ensure I won't tab into anything distracting on my PC, doing school will go by way faster.
