I am reading Malcolm at Midnight by W.H. Beck. Right now I am on page 196. I started this last month and so far it is a great book. I chose this book because I got it for Christmas a few years ago. For the last few years I have stared at it on my bookshelf, so I thought why not give it a chance. In my book right now the main character Malcolm who is a rat is trying to save his friend Aggy who is a lizard. Malcolm is part of a group of animals that call themselves "The Midnight Academy" (they have meetings at midnight). I think this is a just right book because it has a few sentences that I have to re-read, but it is not too easy.

I finished the book Malcolm at Midnight, so now I am reading a new book named Loot by: Jude Watson. I started this book on Feb. 10. There are 266 pages but I'm only on page 25. So far it is about a father and son duo that steal and commit crimes. The son March Mcquinn is finishing up a job and runs to his father to trade off. But when his dad " Alfred McQuinn " isn't at the pick up spot March worries and searches for him. When March sees Alfred on top of the hotel he says " Dad come down" but Alfred trips off of the roof and falls to his death. On a scale of 1-5 I would rate this at a 4.5 because it's interesting so far but I didn't expect Alfred to die.

The book i'm reading is Loot by Jude Watson. I started this book on Feb. 10. There are 266 pages and I have read 46 so far. March went to a place that his dads note told him to go to. The police arrived and have March "Hostage". I would rate this book a 5, because of the fast pace and interest level to me.
