Maybe it's time to start thinking about a Change Board for the lesson material for sem1. 'They' could already be the 'keepers' of the (up til now & from now on) produced lessonmaterial.

Stop thinking that we're developing an "Open Learning"-light

That there will be some open learning similarities, that could be, but it should not be the goal. The startsemester student is fundamentally different from a higher semester student. These students are fresh and they need to get into the rhythm of studying and need to find themselves. On top of that the international students suffer from culture shock and settlement issues.

Keep believing that we're developing not only a new startsemester but a great first semester solution which fits in the the current timeline of IT. A solution which fits each type of student; the international ones, the shy ones, the hyperactive ones, the slow ones, the regardless which pre-education ones, etc.. Stay keeping in mind that the new startsemester could be for everyone. Enthusiasm is the key!

Our communication amongst ourselves and towards others is hampered by unclear terminology and apparently 'forbidden' words. Examples of some of those words: words: project, class, profile.
