One way I will create positive experiences is by giving extensive and thoughtful feedback on writing assignments. By acknowledging students' efforts and giving them praise, students will develop a more positive self-concept towards writing.
I will also celebrate achievement in my class. I would celebrate the completion of a difficult unit or state testing by allowing the class to go outside, playing music, or showing a movie.

We should have some competition in the class to keep students interested in the class. Competition is more aimed at males since they are more motivated by it more than females but it will keep all the students intrigued. Include more conservation into the classroom to keep people interested.

We need to be able to keep student's emotionally engaged. They need to be invested into the lesson as much as we are. We can serve as the main example by coming in each day excited for the lesson. This can be done by sharing my favorite portion of history and explaining why. I could tell them an interesting story about a college lesson and how it intrigued me. These are all hooks that will draw students in emotionally through my own emotional engagement.
