I think this quote connects to the question by making Billi be emotionally open in the film. Since having emotions is a human thing to have and to express them to show how you feel.

This shows  that the authors use imagery to show how Christopher in the story feels like a real character. By using imagery in Christopher's imagined grand escape from the police holding cell it gives us a better picture of how human Christopher is.

This demonstrates the author connects the character Christopher to the audience by showing the relationship between a parent/guardian and their child. showing the audience the ups and the downs moments between Christopher and his father, showing scenes of them being loving and understanding while showing other sces such as this one where they are arguing.

The author is showing Christopher's parents' problems towards the readers in order to focus on what's the cause of these problems between his parents. 

Christopher knows why they fight which is why I feel like it makes Christopher more human. 

Here, Christopher is letting us know that he is quite intelligent and that he doesn't mind being by himself. I believe the author is attempting to show us that Christopher is self-assured and that he is aware of what he wants to do, and will therefore finally do it when the time is appropriate (this time is when chistopher himself feels like the timing is correct)

This quotation demonstrates the character's growth. I say this because it's clear from the beginning/middle of the book that Christopher is confident, but that he lacks a certain sense of independence. With everything that Christopher had to deal with, this writing that the author provides to wrap up the novel demonstrates that he now has the independence that he was lacking.
