<title>Technology is so embedded in everything we do - in and out of school/work life. We ALL have a responsibility in this, and often times, it&#39;s the students that are our biggest teachers. Perhaps we can help Mr. Stone get out of the mindset that he needs to &quot;teach technology.&quot; It&#39;s more about providing opportunities for his students to utilize skills that foster the 4Cs. Giving the students a choice in which tools they use to learn or demonstrate their learning will be important. Maybe we can provide ideas for what this looks like...give students the option to use iMovie to record an advertisement for the community (or create a poster advertisement using Pages) or a how-to for another student using Explain Everything or act out a scene or write a song that is video recorded to assess their understanding of a concept.</title>

<title>It is ok to start slow and really his students probably already know more than he does. It is ok to give student&#39;s choice and let them demonstrate knowledge with technology instead of him &quot;teaching it to everyone&quot;. Give him a list of apps/sites that students can use to demonstrate mastery of content.</title>
