1) Technostress is the negative psychological link between people and the introduction of new technologies. Where ergonomics is the study of how humans react to and physically fit with machines in their environment, technostress is a result of altered habits of work and collaboration that are being brought about due to the use of modern information technologies at office and home situations.[1] People experience technostress when they cannot adapt to or cope with information technologies in a healthy manner. They feel compulsive about being connected and sharing constant updates, feel forced to respond to work-related information in real-time, and engage in almost habitual multi-tasking. They feel compelled to work faster because information flows faster, and have little time to spend on sustained thinking and creative analysis.

2) How to avoid technostress ?
- Staying healthy and having a proper diet
- Listening to music
- Getting counseling
- Establishing a teamwork relationship
- Exercises, like deep breathing, and yoga or tai chi
- Balancing positive and negative thoughts
- Having an awareness of technostress

3) Two disadvantages :
    1. An unhealthy addiction
- I think we all are well aware of how addictive gadgets can be. Especially when we are talking about computers, once you have become an active user it isn’t very difficult to get caught in the addiction.
    2. Causes headache
- Using computers for long hours can cause severe headache which a lot of people complain about when they have to spend long hours working on the computer in office or at home. Our body and mind obviously needs rest but when you are constantly using computer for abnormally long hours, the body is unable to get the rest.
   3. Can result in overeating and
        obesity
- Just like while watching television or movies we need something to munch on, while on the computer too people tend to keep eating snacks or any other food. Moreover prolonged sitting and no movement causes fat to accumulate inside our bodies and risk obesity.

Much of the content we view on the web today are subject to reliability issues. The information we read online may not always be true and authentic. User-generated content may pose a lot of negative bias towards a subject and there is no way to validate the information at times ie. information on Wikipedia can be changed and falsified.

2. Lack of privacy is another disadvantage. As we continue to share our information online through social media, we open ourselves to stalkers and people invading our privacy. The concept of connectedness that Web 2.0 brings brings us closer together but also destroys the private boundaries of our social space.

3. Social problems have also been translated to the web. Criminal activities have also been evident online given that Web 2.0 tools today have facilitated an easier way to connect with each other. Credit card accounts have been hacked, gossip has spread even faster, and many other social vices such as gambling have moved online.
