         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hard Engineering<br>Rip rap is the coastal management plan that I want to implement in the Dolomite sand located in the Manila Bay. From the discussion they are rip rap present in Manila Bay but they are made in the bag of sands. I think rip rap made of rocks will be much more effective to avoid the washing away of the sand or at least to lessen the damage.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>hard engineering&nbsp;<br>for me, the gabions can be helpful in the manila bay because it can stabilize the shore and it can prevent flooding. As we all know many people live around manila bay so one of the hazard there is flooding. There will also be a space for the people to enjoy and walk around the beach so I think gabions will be very helpful.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

Yes, there is no cliff in Manila bay but we can do vegetation in order to support marine lives and to attract tourist without harming any other resources.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Hard Engineering<br>Groynes<br>I agree that the beach nourishment made the Manila Bay looks natural and attracts tourists. But the disavantages of this is this type of coastal management needs a urgent and constant maintenance. So I'd like to add groynes, although it is expensive but groynes protects the coast from longshore drift and builds up natural defence against erosion. So I think this is the most possible way to manage our coast at the Manila Bay.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hard Engineering<br>Sea Wall<br><br>My coastal management plan is to respond by addressing the causes of ocean trash first, to facilitate and aggregate the implementation of solutions to the various problems occurring along the coast, and not only the beautification of Manila Bay should be carried out to the problems that occur on the coasts because it is also important to implement a solution that is effective and will bring safety to the residents living near the coast. However, the Sea Wall will also have a significant impact on alleviating and protecting residents living near the coast from the ongoing severe and high ocean currents. When waves attack the shores, the Sea Wall returns a large portion of the energy back into the sea or the ocean. This will help to prevent the potential damage to residents of severe gusts of large and fluent waves and to prevent the severity that can be given by the giant waves whenever these waves hit on the coast.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>For me, a sea wall is important because it protects human habitation. Apart from that, it protects inhabitants against tsunamis that may occur as a result of strong waves. In some situations, they may be able to avoid coastal flooding. It also prevents erosion at the base of cliffs, on land, and in buildings. I'd like to add in some rip-rap as well. Because in places of concentrated flow or wave energy, this is utilized to armor, stabilize, and protect the soil surface from erosion and scour. Rip-rap is also worthwhile because it has the potential to last or be effective for a long time.</div>]]></description>
