Adult 1: Mrs. Rifkin has always been a great example of dress to impress. She's been to plenty of interviews and she suggested:

that a dress shirt and pants are appropriate attire and jeans should never be worn.

A dress should be below the knee and should cover shoulders

flats of wedges are good

hair should be neat

"How Mrs Rifkin dresses"- Mrs. Rifkin

Adult 2: Mahmood has been our tutor for a good amount of time and although he's only been to a couple interviews he gives good suggestions:

Depends on the job one should dress accordingly (for ex.: construction should be casual)

Pathway: dress nice, professional, chinos(dress pants)

button up tucked in or out

professional shoes

jewelry should be tucked in

Women: professional attire, skirt, dress

Dont's: don't have bad breath, don't go in like you just woke up, avoid stalling (if you stall you should stall to an open answer),no showing off, no showing tattoos

Do's: make yourself sound like you're on a higher level, best behavior, make yourself look like you need a job, show up 15 minutes early, search company, ask about benefits

Do's

Dress for the job (Men wear a tie and suit) (Women knee-length skirt or dress pants).

Ensure clothes fit well: Your clothes should not be too tight or too loose.

Wear clean, ironed clothes: Wrinkled clothing gives off an impression of carelessness. Make sure your clothes are clean and ironed to appear organized and detail-oriented.

Pay attention to details: Polished shoes, neat hair, and minimal jewelry can elevate your overall appearance and show that you put thought into your outfit.

Don't's

Avoid overly casual attire: Even if the company has a relaxed dress code, steer clear of casual clothing like jeans, shorts, or flip-flops during an interview. Show that you take the opportunity seriously.

Say no to loud patterns: Refrain from wearing loud patterns or bright colors, as they can be distracting. You want the focus to be on your skills and experience, not your wardrobe.

Steer clear of strong perfumes or colognes: While it's essential to smell fresh and clean, an overpowering scent can be off-putting to the interviewer. Opt for a subtle scent or skip it altogether.

Avoid revealing clothing: Dress modestly and professionally to convey the right image and maintain a respectful atmosphere.

Interview #1 (Mom)

She told me that it would be nice to have a resume about jobs that you have done. Tell them how you're willing to learn about the job you're taking. You have to be well dressed no jeans or crop tops just formal outfits like suits or dresses. You have to go there really clean no slides or Pj's.

Interview #2 (Dad)

He told me that it would be nice to wear a formal suit and to look good professionally. If you have hair do your hair well like slicking your hair back or styling it to look good and not look bad or unprofessional. He also said not to wear any jeans or T-shirts because that's unprofessional.

Adult 2 (my uncle): Dressing appropriately for a job interview is crucial for making a positive first impression.
