wanwen luo

The free movement of labor good for society is conducive to the full competition in the labor market, the use of labor resources to optimize the allocation, contribute to the improvement of the labor market. It can be said to help improve the income level of farmers, narrowing the urban-rural income gap. The improvement of social labor productivity has the directive of the scale of social means of production and social productive forces and the comprehensive quality of laborers. If the relationship between each three can be completed, it will produce huge social effect of the social labor productive in the polar expansion, it will improve the value of the labor force to provide a good social opportunity, social labor productivity can only provide the value of Labor.

The advantage of outsourcing isreducing the cost of enterprise management and operation, reduce the cost of human resources, can improve improvement operational efficiency, make full use of social resources.Through the outsourcing of non-core business, enterprises will focus resources on the core business of enterprises, enhance the flexibility of business operations, speed up business decision-making speed and reduce management costs. By outsourcing to a lower cost to get better products, reduce the cost of part of the business can enable enterprises to avoid the process of integration brought about by the industry involved in deep business risk.

The disadvantages: of outsourcing is when outsourced services are no longer controlled by the company, they lose their flexibility and companies can not respond quickly to changes in theenvironment.Outsourcing has been increased the cost, it is difficult to replace the outsourcing service provider or return to the enterprise by the internal supply. There are also a potential risk to suppliers in quality and service, that is, whether the quality and service offered by outsourced service providers are satisfaction. In many cases, there will be a service level agreement between the enterprise and the outsourcing service provider , But it is clear that The obligations of one party is difficult to achieveWhen the control of the information system turns to the outside, it often means the organization of business secrets of externalization, if the organization does not restrict the cables to provide services for their assessment or the development of software, may cause harm to the Organization.

Outsourcing is an allocation of specific business processes to a specialist external service provider. Most of the times an organization cannot handle all aspects of a business process internally. Additionally some processes are temporary and the organization does not intend to hire in-house professionals to perform the tasks.
The advantages:
1, Swiftness and Expertise: Most of the times tasks are outsourced to vendors who specialize in their field. The outsourced vendors also have specific equipment and technical expertise, most of the times better than the ones at the outsourcing organization. Effectively the tasks can be completed faster and with better quality output.

2, Concentrating on core process rather than the supporting ones: Outsourcing the supporting processes gives the organization more time to strengthen their core business process.

3, Risk-sharing: one of the most crucial factors determining the outcome of a campaign is risk-analysis. Outsourcing certain components of your business process helps the organization to shift certain responsibilities to the outsourced vendor. Since the outsourced vendor is a specialist, they plan your risk-mitigating factors better.

4, Reduced Operational and Recruitment costs: Outsourcing eludes the need to hire individuals in-house; hence recruitment and operational costs can be minimized to a great extent. This is one of the prime advantages of offshore outsourcing.
The disadvantages:
1, Risk of exposing confidential data: When an organization outsources HR, Payroll and Recruitment services, it involves a risk if exposing confidential company information to a third-party.

2, Synchronizing the deliverables: In case you do not choose a right partner for outsourcing, some of the common problem areas include stretched delivery time frames, sub-standard quality output and inappropriate categorization of responsibilities. At times it is easier to regulate these factors inside an organization rather than with an outsourced partner.

3, Hidden costs: Although outsourcing most of the times is cost-effective at times the hidden costs involved in signing a contract while signing a contract across international boundaries may pose a serious threat.

4, Lack of customer focus: An outsourced vendor may be catering to the expertise-needs of multiple organizations at a time. In such situations vendors may lack complete focus on your organization’s tasks.
Free movement of labour– It means that workers are entitled to look for work in another country, without requiring any visa. Free movement of labour is a fundamental principle of the EU. It means EU citizens are entitled to look for a job in another EU country. Also, qualifications are universally accepted across Europe and in theory, there should be no discrimination for firms choosing between native and migrant workers. The free movement of labor is good for society because it can help deal with labour shortages. The free movement of labor is good for society because can help deal with labour shortages, diminish the rise in unemployment, prevent wage inflation, labour migration creates additional demand, more flexible labour markets, fill undesirable jobs, opportunities for workers to work elsewhere and help deal with demographic challenges. First of all, the free movement of labor can help deal with labour shortages. For example, countries may experience labour shortages, especially in certain skilled positions or undesirable jobs many domestic workers don’t want to do. Immigrants can fill these vacancies. The UK has relied on many immigrants to work in the NHS, filling skilled jobs, such as nurses and doctors. Across UK, migrants account for approx. 10% of doctors. Second, the free movement of labor can diminish the rise in unemployment. If there is free movement of labour, then workers from oversees can take temporary jobs when an economy is booming and then return home, when the boom is over. This is particularly beneficial for cyclical job markets, such as construction. For example, during the Irish property boom (2000-2007), construction workers migrated to Ireland. However, the property collapse and subsequent recession saw many immigrants from eastern Europe return to their native country.”The number of Personal Public Service (PPS) Numbers issued to non-Irish nationals went down by nearly 50% between 2008 and 2009, and over the past two years the number of employment permits issued has dropped by 66% without this free movement of labour, the rise in unemployment would have been sharper in Ireland. Third, the free movement of labor can prevent wage inflation. If an economy experiences labour shortages, it will put strong upward pressure on wages; higher wages can easily lead to inflationary pressures. Free movement of labour means rising wages will attract more labour into a country and this will prevent excess wage inflation. Fourth, the free movement of labor can make labour migration creates additional demand. Many focus on the increase in labour supply, pushing down wages, but migration also leads to additional demand. UK economic growth has been boosted by rise in population. Sixth, the free movement of labor can make more flexible labour markets. In an economy there may appear shortages in certain professions such as teaching and nursing. These vacancies can take a long time to fill because of the time taken to undertake training. If there is free movement of labour, qualified workers will be attracted to fill these vacancies making the economy more flexible and overcome shortages quicker. Seventh, the free movement of labor can fill undesirable jobs. In developed countries, there are often jobs which are difficult to fill because they are deemed unsavoury. This may involve cleaning, bar work or dangerous jobs. Immigrants may be willing to fill these jobs because of the wage premium from working in that country. Eighth, the free movement of labor make opportunities for workers to work elsewhere. In addition to migration into the country. Free movement of labour enables people to work (and retire) elsewhere. Over 2 million British workers moved abroad during period of free movement of labour in the period of EU membership. Ninth, the free movement of labor help deal with demographic challenges. Many countries in Western Europe are experiencing a demographic time-bomb – with a rapidly ageing population. This places strain on public finances because people over 65 are net recipients of state spending (pensions + health care, less income tax contributions). Free movement of labour can see young immigrants come to areas of declining working population and make a net contribution to public finances. Tenth, the free movement of labor helps to reduce regional inequalities. Free movement of labour should help to regional disparities between the economic union. Free movement of labour has enabled workers in Eastern Europe to save money and increase their living standards. Some of this income will be saved and sent home to increase living standards in Eastern Europe. After joining the EU, countries like Portugal, Spain and Ireland did get closer to average EU GDP per capita levels.

References:
https://www.flatworldsolutions.com/articles/advantages-disadvantages-outsourcing.php
http://www.economicshelp.org/blog/1386/economics/free-movement-of-labour/

1.) Advantage and Disadvantages of outsourcing

Outsourcing has become a big deal in our economy but first let me define what outsourcing is before I go through the advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing. Outsourcing is an efficient cost-saving strategy if a company knows how to use it properly. It is used to by transferring portions of work outside the suppliers rather than finishing the product internally to reduce cost.

One of the advantages of outsourcing is to reduce recruitment and operational cost. The recruitment and operational cost can be lessen due to the advantages they have offshore which mean that other countries can have cheaper labour and cheaper cost to make a certain parts of the product or the product itself. Other companies offshore also specialize on certain things which we can’t produce in our country because they have specific equipment and technical expertise. If we do try to produce a certain part of the product in our country, it might cost more which I will talk about later in the disadvantages of outsourcing. Another advantage is that we can create good connection/partnerships or a business to business relationship which both parties shares risk in the production process since both parties will share responsibilities. This will also strengthen the core of the organization’s business process. For examples Samsung outsource their product in China, Vietnam, and India to reduce cost and make the product cycle must faster.

So far everything might sound perfect but there are also disadvantages of outsourcing such as the risk of exposing confidential data. Outsourcing can involve exposing information to the third-party which means that they might copy our product secretly and do it for other companies which is why we need to makes sure that we pick the most trusted company to help us create our product. Another disadvantage is delivery. If we do not choose the right partner for outsourcing, there might be some problem with delivery which can affect our business from moving on to the next step of our cycle. Some companies may not cater our need since they also have to produce other products to other organizations at a time which means that there’s a chance that they may lack complete focus in our organization.

2.) Why free labour movement is good for society

Free labour movement is good for our society because it can help deal with labour shortages. For example, Canada has a lot of immigrants which helps companies with their labour. It can then diminish the rise in unemployment if the workers are only here temporarily and go back to their country once the boom is over. There are a lot of international workers in Canada who are here temporarily which benefits some companies. This can also prevent wage inflation since if we are short in labour. The wages demand might increase if we are short in labour but labour movement can help us lessen that demand. This will also fill undesirable jobs since develop countries will have a hard time to fill in unsavoury jobs but some immigrants might be willing to fill in on some of these jobs. This will also give opportunities for workers to work elsewhere and experience the life in other country. It will also help deal with demographic challenges and help reduce regional inequalities. On top of these reasons, free labour movement will create additional demand which means that it will be more flexible to fill in certain profession such as doing nursing or teaching in other country.

Work Cited

Staff, Investopedia.

To understand the pros and cons of outsourcing, first, we need to understand what it actually is first. Outsourcing is a type of business practice used by companies in which they transfer a portion of their work to outside suppliers, rather than completing it internally.
One advantage is the most obvious one: it will reduce production costs. For example, a computer company might be buying some of the components from a manufacturer, so they wouldn't have to pay as much. In addition, implementing an outsourcing strategy can have companies focus on core aspects of a business. Outsourcing non-core activities enable more efficiency, streamlining and productivity, because another source performs these smaller tasks. Also, it may lead to increased turnaround times, and have access to new technology without investing huge amounts of money.
However, it also has significant disadvantages. For one, signing contracts with other companies take time and money, and extra effort from a firm's legal team. There is also a risk to losing sensitive data and loss of confidentiality, and security threats might occur, which will lead to a data breach. Lack of communication might occur between the firm and outsource entity, which might lead to the delay of projects.

Free movement of labor means that workers are allowed to look for work in another country without a visa; it is generally a practice in the EU, which means it only applies to EU countries. Free movement of labor is good for the society, because not only will it give out increased job opportunities to workers, but it will also make labor markets more flexible, which means they can be easily modified to fit certain conditions or circumstances.

Staff, Investopedia. Freedom of movement began as a way to encourage people to travel to fill jobs after the Second World War. The idea was that a mobile workforce would help boost the economies of the EU's six founding members, and perhaps discourage future conflict on the continent. Free-movement deals allow workers to migrate from countries where jobs are scarce to others where jobs are many, and where labor is in short supply. In recent years, workers from southern European countries, which have been hit hardest by the Euro zone crisis, have been heading north to find employment.

Secondly, one of the biggest advantages of outsourcing is cost savings. The lower cost of operation and labor, and reduction in overhead costs makes it attractive to outsource. Also, when certain functions of an organization become operationally uncontrollable, outsourcing helps to overcome such difficulties.

Disadvantages of Outsourcing
Firstly, one of the biggest disadvantages of outsourcing is the risk of losing sensitive data and the loss of confidentiality.

OUTSOURCING -ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES Outsourcing is a fairly new concept for businesses all around the world. It means exactly what is says : going "out" from your organization to somewhere else to find the "source" of the skills and expertise that is not available within your own organization. It can be internal meaning the outsourced product is for the employees for instance payroll department. It can be external meaning the outsourced product is for the customers of the organization for example call centers (HowStuffWorks).
Advantages:
- Focus on Core Business : with outsourcing businesses can focus on there core business practice and direct all there skills and expertise towards those important business practice while outsourcing handles there other tasks.
- Cost Saving : It is one of the main advantage of outsourcing as with outsourcing the cost of operations, office space, recruitment and other essential costs is minimized or eluded to a great extent.
- Better Quality : Majority of the times when a part of business is outsourced to vendors those vendors are experts in proving that service as they are properly equipped, have trained staff particularly for that task which directly results in improved quality of product or work.
- Risk Sharing : When a business outsource a part of its business to a vendor it shifts its responsibilities to the vendor and as these vendors are committed to some level of service and quality, risks involved in business is mitigated more efficiently (smartchurch).
Disadvantages:
- Risking Confidential Data : Many times when a business outsource departments like payrolls, HR, IT or even call centers they are exposing various confidential data about the company and the clients.
- Organizational Knowledge : In certain cases the outsourced vendors do not have enough knowledge about the business and services they offer which might compromise the quality of outsourced products or services. This is evident in many cases of outsourced call centers.
- Deliverable : It is very important to choose the right partner for your outsourcing product or service otherwise it is not uncommon for vendors not being able to deliver the work on time and failing to sync their performance with your requirements.
- Legal Compliance, Security or Labor Issues : A business must make sure that the vendor company is in sync with all the legal procedures within their own organization and follows the legal procedure with your business too, all labor board concerns must be ruled out such as people working in poor conditions, underpaid etc (smartchurch).

MOVEMENT OF LABOR
Free movement of labor means that people are allowed to move from one country to another in search of work or better work opportunities without the requirement of visa. It has been proven very beneficial over the course of time. One of the most crucial impact of free labor movement is that it has the capacity to diminish unemployment and reduce poverty overtime which is not only beneficial for the society but also extremely important to boost economy of any country. With the help of labor movement many unwanted job opening can be filled and it also creates diversity in the labor market which can in turn help employers deal with problems such as demographic instability. When people are willing to move form one place to another they are willing to take up seasonal jobs and such employers are benefited when they hire such labor. In a nut shell free labor movement is very beneficial for individuals, societies, particular work environment and for economy.

WORK CITED PAGE:
1)"How Outsourcing Works." HowStuffWorks.

Advantages of outsourcing

Companies that decide to outsource do so for a number of reasons, all of which are based on realizing gains in business profitability and efficiency. Principal merits of outsourcing include the following:

1. Cost savings. Many businesses embrace outsourcing as a way to realize cost savings or better cost control over the outsourced function. Companies usually outsource to a vendor that specializes in a given function and performs that function more efficiently than the company could, simply by virtue of transaction volume.

2. Staffing levels. Another common reason for outsourcing is to achieve headcount reductions or minimize the fluctuations in staffing that may occur due to changes in demand for a product or service. Companies also outsource in order to reduce the workload on their employees (freeing them to take on additional moneymaking projects for the business), or to provide more development opportunities for their employees by freeing them from tedious tasks.

3. Focus. Some companies outsource in order to eliminate distractions and force themselves to concentrate on their core competencies. This can be a particularly attractive benefit for start-up firms. Outsourcing can free the entrepreneur from tedious and time-consuming tasks, such as payroll, so that he or she can concentrate on the marketing and sales activities that are most essential to the firm's long-term growth and prosperity. "What an outsourcing partner really sells is focus," wrote Adam Katz-Stone in Baltimore Business Journal. "In accounting for instance, that is something that typically is seen as necessary but not essential, not the core of the business. So you bring in an outsourcing partner and then you don't have to think about that any more. You can focus your energies on sales, marketing, all the other things that matter more."

4. Morale. This is an often-overlooked but still notable benefit that can sometimes be gained by initiating an outsourcing relationship. "Often a business's lack of internal expertise or dedication to non-core tasks results in poor attitudes and ultimately poor performance," wrote Kevin Grauman in CPA Journal. "This can lead to overlap and duplication of internal efforts. An effectively designed and ongoing communication process emanating from one or more outsourcers can greatly reduce or eliminate these duplications."

5. Flexibility. Still others outsource to achieve greater financial flexibility, since the sale of assets that formerly supported an outsourced function can improve a company's cash flow. A possible pitfall in this reasoning is that many vendors demand long-term contracts, which may reduce flexibility.

6. Knowledge. Some experts tout outsourcing of computer programming and other information technology functions as a way to gain access to new technology and outside expertise. This may be of particular benefit to small businesses, which may not be able to afford to hire computer experts or develop the in-house expertise to maintain high-level technology. When such tasks are outsourced, the small business gains access to new technology that can help it compete with larger companies.

The disadvantages of outsoursing

1. Risk of exposing confidential data: When an organization outsources HR, Payroll and Recruitment services, it involves a risk if exposing confidential company information to a third-party

2.Synchronizing the deliverables: In case you do not choose a right partner for outsourcing, some of the common problem areas include stretched delivery time frames, sub-standard quality output and inappropriate categorization of responsibilities. At times it is easier to regulate these factors inside an organization rather than with an outsourced partner

3.Hidden costs: Although outsourcing most of the times is cost-effective at times the hidden costs involved in signing a contract while signing a contract across international boundaries may pose a serious threat

4.Lack of customer focus: An outsourced vendor may be catering to the expertise-needs of multiple organizations at a time. In such situations vendors may lack complete focus on your organization’s tasks

Advantages of free movement of labour

1. Can help deal with labour shortages. Countries may experience labour shortages, especially in certain skilled positions or undesirable jobs many domestic workers don’t want to do. Immigrants can fill these vacancies. The UK has relied on many immigrants to work in the NHS, filling skilled jobs, such as nurses and doctors. Across UK, migrants account for approx. 10% of doctors.

2. Can prevent wage inflation. If an economy experiences labour shortages, it will put strong upward pressure on wages; higher wages can easily lead to inflationary pressures. Free movement of labour means rising wages will attract more labour into a country and this will prevent excess wage inflation.

3. Labour migration creates additional demand. Many focus on the increase in labour supply, pushing down wages, but migration also leads to additional demand. UK economic growth has been boosted by rise in population (partly caused by net migration).

4. More flexible labour markets. In an economy there may appear shortages in certain professions such as teaching and nursing. These vacancies can take a long time to fill because of the time taken to undertake training. If there is free movement of labour, qualified workers will be attracted to fill these vacancies making the economy more flexible and overcome shortages quicker.

5. Fill undesirable jobs. In developed countries, there are often jobs which are difficult to fill because they are deemed unsavoury. This may involve cleaning, bar work or dangerous jobs. Immigrants may be willing to fill these jobs because of the wage premium from working in that country.

6. Opportunities for workers to work elsewhere. In addition to migration into the country. Free movement of labour enables people to work (and retire) elsewhere. Over 2 million British workers moved abroad during period of free movement of labour in the period of EU membership.

7. Help deal with demographic challenges.

8. Helps to reduce regional inequalities.

Outsourcing is finding a third party to perform a function for you in order to save money. For example a call center...
Pro-
EXPERTISE: Tasks are outsourced to those who specialize in their field; meaning they can be a lot more expertise, and better than the ones at the organization, this leads to the job to be completed effectively and faster.
SAVE MONEY- Hence recruitment and operational costs can be minimized to a great amount.

Cons.-
LANGUAGE: not everyone is going to be able to speak the language that the company might need.
RISK OF LOSING CONFIDENTIAL INFO: Lets say a company outsources Human Resources or payroll and recruitment services, there is a chance of having secret data be delivered to a third party.

*FREE MOVEMENT OF LABOR*-
In my opinion this can bring economical issues because salaries will be pushed down as people with different purchasing power parities leave to countries paying the highest salaries , so the local labor will be unable to compete with this, also a disadvantage in market size, meaning population and GDP, because a rising in population leads to a decline in quality life style, a lot more traffic congestion which leads to social and economic issues/costs. But it is also a great opportunity for immigrants and expatriates to earn a profit and become more cultural. Also, the free labor of movement lets people expand their experience, they have a lot more exposure to versatility and skills. The job opportunities can increase, workers will learn more languages and this is an advantage for future references/jobs. I think is advantageous only for those in society that can have the opportunity to work in another country to earn a higher profit, but it is not in favor for those who live in "certain country" because this means it will become somehow a race.

1. The company that determines outsourcing has many reasons, especially based on the efficiency and profitability of the business. According to research, there are some advantages and disadvantages of outsourcing.

First, the advantage of outsourcing is “cost saving”. Many companies adopt outsourcing as a way to realize cost savings or cost control through outsourcing capabilities.

Second, “Staff level”. Another common reason for outsourcing is to achieve reductions in manpower or minimize fluctuations in staffing that can result from changes in demand for a product or service
Third,” focus”. Some companies are outsourcing to address distractions and focus on core competencies. This can be a particularly compelling benefit for start-ups. Outsourcing can free you from tedious and time-consuming tasks like payroll, so you can focus on the most essential marketing and sales activities for company's long-term growth and prosperity. However, Potential disadvantages of outsourcing include deterioration in quality control, loss of company loyalty, long bidding processes and loss of strategic alliances.

2. 2. Free movement of labor is good for society. Because free movement of labor can help deal with labor shortages and can reduce unemployment growth rate. If there is free movement of labor, people can do provisional work when the economy is booming, and they can go home when the boom is over. Moreover, Wage expansion can prevent by free movement of labor. If the economy suffers from labor shortages, wage pressures will increase.

1- Discuss some advantages and disadvantages to outsourcing

      Advantages:

Swiftness and Expertise: Most of the times tasks are outsourced to vendors who specialize in their field. The outsourced vendors also have specific equipment and technical expertise, most of the times better than the ones at the outsourcing organization. Effectively the tasks can be completed faster and with better quality output

Concentrating on core process rather than the supporting ones: Outsourcing the supporting processes gives the organization more time to strengthen their core business process

Risk-sharing: one of the most crucial factors determining the outcome of a campaign is risk-analysis. Outsourcing certain components of your business process helps the organization to shift certain responsibilities to the outsourced vendor. Since the outsourced vendor is a specialist, they plan your risk-mitigating factors better

Reduced Operational and Recruitment costs: Outsourcing eludes the need to hire individuals in-house; hence recruitment and operational costs can be minimized to a great extent. This is one of the prime advantages of offshore outsourcing

Disadvantages:

Risk of exposing confidential data: When an organization outsources HR, Payroll and Recruitment services, it involves a risk if exposing confidential company information to a third-party

Synchronizing the deliverables: In case you do not choose a right partner for outsourcing, some of the common problem areas include stretched delivery time frames, sub-standard quality output and inappropriate categorization of responsibilities. At times it is easier to regulate these factors inside an organization rather than with an outsourced partner

Hidden costs: Although outsourcing most of the times is cost-effective at times the hidden costs involved in signing a contract while signing a contract across international boundaries may pose a serious threat

Lack of customer focus: An outsourced vendor may be catering to the expertise-needs of multiple organizations at a time. In such situations vendors may lack complete focus on your organization’s tasks

2- Explain why the free movement of labor is good for society?

Advantages of free movement of labour:

Can help deal with labour shortages. Countries may experience labour shortages; especially in certain skilled positions or undesirable jobs many domestic workers don’t want to do. Immigrants can fill these vacancies. The UK has relied on many immigrants to work in the NHS, filling skilled jobs, such as nurses and doctors. Across UK, migrants account for approx. 10% of doctors.

Can diminish the rise in unemployment.

Can prevent wage inflation. If an economy experiences labour shortages, it will put strong upward pressure on wages; higher wages can easily lead to inflationary pressures. Free movement of labour means rising wages will attract more labour into a country and this will prevent excess wage inflation.

Labour migration creates additional demand. Many focus on the increase in labour supply, pushing down wages, but migration also leads to additional demand. UK economic growth has been boosted by rise in population (partly caused by net migration).

Fill undesirable jobs. In developed countries, there are often jobs which are difficult to fill because they are deemed unsavoury. This may involve cleaning, bar work or dangerous jobs. Immigrants may be willing to fill these jobs because of the wage premium from working in that country.

Opportunities for workers to work elsewhere. In addition to migration into the country. Free movement of labour enables people to work (and retire) elsewhere. Over 2 million British workers moved abroad during period of free movement of labour in the period of EU membership.

Help deal with demographic challenges.

Helps to reduce regional inequalities.

Sources:

"The Advantages and Disadvantages of Outsourcing - FWS."Flatworld Solutions.

1. There is an immense amount of reasons for outsourcing. Matter of fact, there would be more advantages to outsourcing than keeping the work in the country for a business owner. Advantages are reduced costs to operate, and reduced costs for recruitment of employees. The dollar is higher in Canada compared to most countries and in some significantly higher, so it would be cheaper to run the business. Recruiting would also be cheaper due to the fact paying employees would at a lower rate would be sufficient for their cost of living when compared to Canada. Disadvantages include the risk of exposing confidential data to foreign countries, and having to deal with putting people in bad work conditions can lead to people from home country to boycott product or services.
2. Free movement of labor is good for society because it reduces unemployment rate in some countries that are developing compared to already developed countries. It can prevent wage inflation, due to the labor shortage which puts pressure on wages to go up. It creates flexible work markets and more opportunities for others and it creates opportunities for people to go work elsewhere.
1."The Pros and Cons of Outsourcing." Flatworld Solutions.

The advantages of outsourcing are:

Cost Saving: outsourcing allows corporations to reduce the cost of salary and increase profits by outsourcing production or jobs which require limited specialization to foreign markets. Many large corporations from Apple to McDonalds produce and manufacture their goods in foreign markets out of their home country to increase their profits.

Rules and Regulations: today we find many strict rules and regulations implemented in North America which make it difficult for industries to operate. They are subjected to multiple checks and are often fined by governing bodies if they break any rules.

High Salary: Salaries in North America are paid in dollars hence it companies prefer moving their production and operations to countries with lower currency. This allows them to find the same labor often for half the price compared to North American employees.

Undesired Jobs: Today with the advances in technology, it is difficult for companies to find people who want to do odd jobs such a farming or nursing for the elder. Hence North American employers outsource and bring in foreign labors to fill jobs which their local populations are willing to work in.

The disadvantages of outsourcing are:

Unemployment: When companies move their production to foreign markets, the workers of the company lose their jobs. An example of this would be the American’s rust belt. All the states in mid-US were primarily know for manufacturing. This the introduction of NAFTA and other trade deal, we noticed companies move production to Mexico due to which central US states suffer from extremely high unemployment levels.

Transportation: transportation of finished goods across international borders is one of the biggest problems which face companies. The finished goods must abide by laws of the export and import country in order to pass through customs. Due to this, companies have to set the highest standards to ensure their products can be transported.

Local Customs: Many companies face hurdles when it setting up shop in foreign countries, they have to ensure they are not hurting the sentiments and respect the local customs and religious believes. An example would be McDonald's would not be able to set up pork based meat production in Muslim countries.

Free Labour :

Free Labor Moment is essential for today as it works hand in hand with globalization. Today companies set up shop freely across the globe to help them reduce cost and increase profits. Free Labor moment would allow the employees of these firms to move across countries easily and have access to jobs and opportunities. Additional with countries such as the United States and Canada, the labor force is more focused towards service level jobs. There are many jobs which the local citizens are no interested in performing hence it is essential for Canada and the United States to permit labor moment from foreign countries to work and fill these vacancies.

Free development of work is useful for society since it can help manage work deficiencies. Nations may encounter work deficiencies; Immigrants can fill these opening. free development of work is for the most part a practice in the EU, which implies it just applies to EU nations. Flexibility of development started as an approach to urge individuals to go to fill employments after the Second World War. The thought was that a portable workforce would help support the economies of the EU's six establishing individuals, and maybe demoralize future clash on the mainland. Free-development bargains permit specialists to relocate from nations where occupations are rare to others where employments are numerous, and where work is hard to find.

Some advantages of outsourcing are expertise, concentration on core, risk sharing, and reduced operational costs. Outsourcing allows companies to divide tasks to those who are more expert than staying within the company. Company may have people who can provide enough intellectual, but outsourcing companies would be more specialized. Outsourcing also concentrates on core value than supporting many other. It allows for higher quality products and services. Risk sharing is also an example of outsourcing. It helps the company to divide certain responsibilities to outsourced companies. Lastly, outsourcing may help reduce operational costs by eluding the need of hiring individuals within the company.

Disadvantages of outsourcing are risk of exposing confidential data, hidden costs, and lack of customer focus. Outsourcing means the company may have to share private information, such as HR and payroll, to outsourced company, which may involve risk of exposing confidential information of the company. Outsourcing companies may be cost effective, but may hide some fees that may build up the bill. Lastly, outsourced companies specialize in what they are good for, and not focused on customer’s point of view. It may create tension between company and customers, which can risk the company’s future.

There are several reasons why free movement of labour is good. It could potentially prevent shortage of labour as the number of workers and jobs are divided worldwide. Countries that require more skilled workers may hire people from other countries, and countries with high unemployment can diverge people into other countries freely. It can also prevent wage inflation. When there are not enough people to work, it generally leads to wage inflation. Lastly, it can reduce the number of unemployment. Countries with high unemployment rate can allow their people to freely get a job elsewhere in other countries where they lack skilled workers.

https://www.flatworldsolutions.com/articles/advantages-disadvantages-outsourcing.php

https://www.ukessays.com/essays/economics/advantages-and-disadvantages-of-movement-of-labour-economics-essay.php
