Genre: fiction

The book i read was The Hunger Games which is the best book I have ever read.  It is a fantasy book because it the world is completely different than ours, and the characters are able to create clothing and tools that don’t exist today. It takes place in Panem, once known as North America. The Capitol is surrounded by 12 different districts, and every year one boy and one girl are selected from each district to fight for their lives in the hunger games. This time Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark are drafted to the hunger games to fight for their lives.

 The themes of this book are survival, love, and family. I think everyone who has loves survival fiction and stories about rebellions and humanity should read this book with no hesitation. This is one of three books in a series: Catching Fire and The Mockingjay come next.  There are also four movies to go along with the books; if you love series, this is the book for you!
