I have experienced many challenges that tested my capacity and character. These things built me into a person who cannot be seen as weak or weary because, throughout my life, I have always been the person who is jolly and strong. I can say that the person I am now is the same one who was once discouraged and bullied because of her kindness and love for others; yet now I am so much better. I became stronger because I learned to address my emotions. I became stronger because I didn’t want to go back to the person I used to be—the one who couldn’t speak up and fight for herself. I became stronger because I learned it was okay to be weak at times, to cry when everything feels messed up. I became stronger because I had to, not to prove to others that I’m strong, but because I want to make myself proud—the little kid who hoped and dreamed of being strong when I grew up.


I became stronger than before because I realized that my strength doesn’t come from avoiding vulnerability or fear. It comes from embracing my challenges and learning from them. The pain I once feared became the foundation for my resilience, and now I stand taller because of the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
