A possible solution to stopping the 6th mass extinction is lowering energy and plastic consumption as the population has increased over the decades the requirement for more energy has led to corporations talking immoral actions such as destroying critical habitats, warmings the planet through the use of non-renewable sources of energy (green house gases) and carelessly moving species (introducing predators to wrong areas) to meet the energy needs of society causing certain species to go extinct. This should encourage us to be more aware of our energy consumption, protect the environment, raise awareness about climate change and call out large corporation when they destroy habitats for their own gain since in the long term everything and everyone will all be affected by the 6th mass extinction.
Sources:
https://davidsuzuki.org/what-you-can-do/top-10-ways-can-stop-climate-change/

https://www.iberdrola.com/environment/how-to-reduce-plastic-use

Solutions for stopping the 6th extinction is to first start focusing on all, big or small, species in danger of going extinct no matter how little or big the risk is. Creating awareness is also a big step. Start talking about climate change! We need everyone to be aware and we need them to start worrying. We also need to start giving species their habitats back, we need to create new ones, or even just stop being so wasteful and create better alternatives for our way of living. For example, we need to start recycling more often instead of creating more waste that pollutes these species environments. Just like how we are now finally stopping the use of plastic bags and plastic straws. Big corporations also need to stop using so much energy and fossil fuels. There is a way decrease the use of these fossil fuels. We can use renewable energy! Or even for example, the article on "Top 10 things you can do about climate change" introduces us to new appliances that help with energy consumption like an elective stove and energy efficient lightbulbs. Another way we can help as individuals is doing things in our daily routine such as: taking public transit, taking a bike, or even flying less.

If we stop these processes from occurring, or find loopholes, many species can be saved.

By doing things such as lowering the amount of pollution and doing things such as not littering, recycling, etc. this could contribute to lowering the number of species that are affected by our trash.
I agree with Brandon's answer to stop destroying animal habitats. By avoiding the destruction of animal's habitats, we would lower the number of animals that would have trouble finding shelter elsewhere as those other areas are most likely, also affected.
I also agree with Matthew's answer to avoid bringing certain predators to new areas. This would help lower the number of species that are being wiped out in an area because of the introduction of these new predatory species into that environment.
Source: https://www.iberdrola.com/environment/how-to-reduce-plastic-use

It can be possible to prevent or at least delay the 6th mass extinction in many different ways. Some ways that we could attempt to stop this is by finding new resources to replace current resources like fossil fuels which harm the environment. We also need to consider animals into this equations and try to protect them by causing less harm to their environmental needs, trying to minimize the need to take down things like trees that these animals need, and keeping them safe from any new threats due to animals constantly being transported from place to place. Another method of protecting the Earth is by reducing the need of plastics. This is a major problem because

To reduce the fossils fuels there are alternatives such as wind and solar energy. The plastic both harms the animals in the oceans but also us.
