A gist of the source; It was an extract that talked about encouraging education for girls, where the source talked about how if you educate one girl you educate the whole family whereas it isn't the same case for boys.

This source provides valuable information about statistics on UNESCO's goal, about how an NGO is supporting the cause and provides information about how education for children is being damaged due to conflict, especially in Syria. This article was also published by a renowned new agency.

Source 6 is an infographic, persuading its audience to educate girls. It describes how this decision is advantageous for the society and why it is important. The source uses subject specific knowledge from I&S as it covers all economic, environmental and historical perspectives. It also uses mathematics as it includes many statistics such as data representation of the number of girls who are literate/illiterate. The source highly uses knowledge from English as it is an infographic, and also many propaganda techniques. For example, it gives 3 specific reasons stating why educating girls is beneficial, “healthy, wealthy and wise”.
