I then added supplies I typically use in my small group setting: mechanical pencils, highlighter, dry erase marker & eraser, post it pad, and a pipe cleaner for a fidget. I store them in my mailboxes that I will hand to each student when they come in. I will probably add more to it in the future. During the first few days of school, I will have students pick a book from their bag that they'd like to read to me.
