         <description><![CDATA[<div>the NHS got hacked because they used a outdated windows&nbsp; version that contained an exploit used to shut the system down and could be prevented if they kept the system updated<br><br>ticketmaster had a data breach that effected 40000 consumers, things being taken included personal data like payment information, they where breached via malware infection from a 3rd party software, they could have prevented it by checking any software they are planning to use before using it&nbsp;<br><br>coca-cola had a large data breach that caused many employees personal info was taken by a former employee that stole a hard drive however the data wasn't used maliciously</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>3 recent hacks-<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>Rockstar games-someone coded an ingame message saying GTA6 available for preorder and exploited it for money. To prevent this, rockstar should not make the code open, which makes it easy for people to exploit and edit the base game.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>Apple-icloud was hacked so hackers got users infomation, designs of new devices were posted online. To prevent this, apple should keep the information on a private server that only higher ups of the company know about.<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br>Instagram-hackers got around 6 million accounts because of a bug in the Instagram code, this included verified users. They should add 2 step verification so they know if they are being brute force attacked.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Under armour<br>Under armour my fitness palapp was hacked in late February compromising usernames, email addresses, and passwords. The hackers couldn't access things like credit card numbers, birthdays and location.<br><br>US universities<br><br>Iranian hackers hacked into universities over 144 us universities and then they managed to get into 176 universities in 21 other countries. they also got into 47 private companies and other targets like the united nations, the us federal energy regulatory commission. The hackers managed to steal over 31 terabytes of data and an estimated 3 billion in intellectual property.<br><br>Russian grid hacking<br>in 2017 Russian hackers attempted to gain control over Americas power companies and there was even evidence that they had access to the American utilitys control systems.<br><br><br>Under armour fitness app hacked nothing that valuable was stolen but they were able to get account usernames but the credit card info was protected..using robust they were only able to protect some passwords</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><strong>An Australian teenager has pleaded guilty to hacking Apple, stealing 90 gigabytes of secure files, and accessing customer accounts.</strong></li><li><strong>The 16-year-old broke into Apple's mainframe several times over the course of a year, according to The Age, and stored hacking instructions on his laptop under a folder named "hacky hack hack."</strong></li><li><strong>Apple identified and reported the hack to the FBI. It said "at no point during this incident" was personal user data compromised.</strong></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

Unfortunately, that made them an obvious target for hackers.
