Video #3
Some of the things covered in this video are where lenders get info on whether or not they will want to lend to you and what effects there decision. as well as the fastest ways to improve our credit scores through corrections and regular maintenance.
This is my favourite resource, i think it is the easiest to understand and gets straight to the point. its also not a vary long video so it makes it easy to access in a short amount of time. if your only going to pick one this is the one I suggest. One thing in this video that I didn't see in a lot of other sources was to try and get late payments removed from you account. overall all the information in the video is useful for a multitude of different credit scenarios. so I feel it is an amazing resource.

Website #1
What to expect from this website. some of the things it covers is, what's impacting your score and along with in-depth information about a few of those things, as well as how to properly figure out what percentage of your credit you are using. and then touching on some different types of credit.
This website in particular I thought would be vary useful because it us information directly sourced from the government. it is always a good idea to get some information from a reliable source. this one is one we know we can trust. The section on using credit wisely and how much of your credit you should be using is one of the main reasons I chose this source.

1. What did you learn about your topic that surprised you most?
Raising my credit limits could actually help my credit score, although it may bring my score down a bit initially it never occurred to me the I could raise my credit limits to create a larger gap for my credit ratio. I did try this and as I do know some of you are younger like myself and I ran into some problems. before applying for a credit increase make sure your bank account is up to date with your current income status because for me there wasn’t one and had I just went and applied I would've been denied and taken a hit to my credit for no reason.
2. Provide a real-life example of how this topic is relevant or interesting for you.
for me personally I was one of those people who got a credit card as soon as I turned 18, I maxed it out constantly, paid some off maxed it out again. I was in this cycle for a few months. I didn’t even know I was destroying my credit score. at one point my credit score was in the 500's. this topic is something that I have personally been working on for a while before the class even began. as a 21-year-old it is hard to build good credit especially when you're living at home and you don't drive/own a car. so, for me I've been building my credit to an almost 800-point score just figuring things out on my own. so, when I saw this topic it was something I was already interested in, and I could relate to.
3. If you could pass your knowledge onto a family member or friend, what do you think is the most important thing to pass on?
I think the most important thing to pass on would be making sure they are making the minimum payments, and not missing payments on anything, even if they have to call and let their telephone company know that a payment is going to be late, it’s better than them having that go to the Credit Bureau. late payments and missed payments show you’re not capable of paying on time or managing to pay a bill and if you’re applying for something that is going to require you to be persistent with payments, they are going to look at your credit report for things like that. so, in my opinion that is probably the most important are most useful information I could give someone.
