<title>I had to duck out for 4 parts of the strategy; is there something about food recycling on FB - could add to integration of student/local community?</title>

<title>Trouble with a carbon budget is how it is set in the first place; how do you take into account all the variables, eg where is research being completed, &#39;culture&#39; of the research specialism. Are there too many variables to set a budget. Is is more about snap shot of what is spent each year and then seeing how it changes (ideally downward trend).</title>

<title>Brilliant initiative, doable and impact that can be measured. Goal 1 - reduced power consumption and aim for less than 5% printing of say 2019 average, put auto sensor lights and water taps in the toilet. Water conservation is KEY, and we are at the brink of water poverty in a foreseeable future. Engaging schools can make a difference </title>

<title>Would note that sustainability is often hidden in the curriculum e.g. next generation batteries/sustainable energy is contained in modules in Maths with names such as &quot;Numerical Methods&quot; &quot;Modelling with Diff Equations&quot;.</title>

In the past five years, we have progressed to advanced membership and are in the process of setting up a UK chapter of PRME to help sharing ideas and events on a more local level. So we could work and share ideas together...</title>

<title>A carbon budget could be a useful way of doing things, but we&#39;d need a way to manage the politics of it - e.g. to ensure that PGRs and ECRs budgets are protected.</title>

<title>Sorry, I was late due to the same meeting at Jim. I notice in the chat earlier there was mention of a pulse survey needed (in relation to sustainability i suspect). Institutional research is planning a staff and student pulse survey in December and again in April. Needee Myers is the person to contact if wanted other questions included. </title>
