This construction was created to promote the beauty of nature in ecological preserves. Engineering students of University of Bolton in Ras Al Khaimah had a site visit in the Mina Al Arab last 14^th of February to observe and learn from the construction, that was led by Mr. Adam Strachen. The main goal of the visit is to inspire the students to do well, and to give a glimpse of the project and highlight the beauty of Ras Al Khaimah and from now to dream how can they contribute someday for the success of this endeavors.

 

The developers of this project is, RAK properties. Their ongoing projects are, Anantara, intercontinental and gate way. Contractor of intercontinental is Al Ali Construction, as the site is surrounded by water, they pour sands, and make the surface flat and preparing the ground for construction. The Anantara and Gate way’s contractors are Al Nuami, the completed work for Anantara is piling. Contractors faces major challenges while building this sites, one of them is to maintain tides of the sea waves. The methods that they use is to put pipes, to maintain the flow of the water. Health and Safety of the workers were properly observed by the site engineers while the contractors were making sure that their workers were wearing proper gears for their works.
