2. What are the indicators to measure environmental impact?

How do algae-based meat alternatives contain protein levels similar to or even greater than that of traditional meat? Some sources also mentioned that it contains amino acids, as well as vitamins such as B vitamins. How is this achieved, and do the costs of processing algae, both monetary and environmental, actually make it a viable alternative?

    2. Currently, lab-grown meat has a higher carbon footprint than some traditional meat and most plant-based meat alternatives. However, proponents claim that streamlining the manufacturing process as well as growing the industry could lower this footprint so that cell-based meat alternatives become vastly more efficient, carbon-wise. Do you think this is technologically possible, and if so, how likely and how difficult would it be? We’ve seen sources claiming both that cultured meat is more sustainable, and sources claiming that it is actually less sustainable, so we’re a little confused here

    3. Will traditional meat industries create enough pushback against meat alternatives to seriously impact their viability? Or is the growth of the alternative meat industry inevitable no matter what they do?

    4. How much do you think that public perceptions of meat alternatives can be changed? For example, we saw articles describing plant-based meat as ‘fish food’, despite its relatively established nature. Is this simply a matter of not actively educating the public about meat alternatives?

    Lastly, what format should our video be in? Is there a particular way of organising it, or a level of formality we should stick to beyond the requirements given?

What is the process of creating man-made FBS, and why does FBS work so well in cows as well as other animals? Also, is such a broad serum economically viable, or should researchers focus on niche FBS that may function only in selected animals? Does such research also have potential for applications in humans such as organ growth?
