We got this as a present from our uncle when he went to a trip to Rivera Nayarit with his family. This is called arte huichol and it represents the traditions, they are hand-made job. It's culture origin is in the same Rivera Nayarit.

what kind of feelings and thoughts come up for me when you hear the word HOME?why?
for me home sometimes is literally my home and sometimes home does not feel like home and other places where i feel safe could replace my home, for example berrendos camp is a camp where i feel safe and i love to be there and it is like my second home.

how is art useful for apreciate other cultures at home?
it is helpfull because you can learn a lot from art and see how people from other cultures express theirself, and what they see when they think about their cultures.

Start to implement actions to my life that help the environment for example, recycle, use organic products, reuse, reduce, etc. and tell people from my community to start doing this things so we can all do better things for the environment.

What projects/activities can I design, participate or bring to create awareness and promote a sustainable social change?
activities that involve the positive actions for the social problem that they are focused on, for example if it is about climate change then invite a group of people to go clean the streets and the person who collects the more amount wins a prize, stuff like that that attracts people and at the same time they are doing something good for the environment. And talking about art i think art has a lot of meanings and everyone can have a different perspective of the work they are seeing at but it also attracts a lot of people and give the spectator a big message on their minds.
What did I learn about other cultures and perspectives by analyzing its art or cultural expressions?
i learned that other cultures and countries also deal with a lot of social problems, they have different ideas of how to prevent them but normally we all want to get to the same result, conclusion and solution. The way the have been educated afect the way the perceived things but today i think we all share a lot of same ideas because at the end we all share the same planet.
How can art be useful to spread awareness about important global issues and promote social justice?
as i said before art has a great impact on what people perceive so i think it is really important to keep using art to spread messages all over the world, also with the technology that exists now we can all se a painting that was made on the other side of the world and the message can be clear for all the persons.
