<title>Binge Eating Disorder pathfinder by Alexandra Stirpe</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/astirpe/i8xtjzljcgir6yt6</link>
<description>Binge eating disorder (BED) is a potentially life-threatening but treatable condition, defined by: recurring episodes of eating a lot of food in a short amount of time, feeling out of control during the episode, experiencing feelings of distress or shame afterwards, and compensating for these binges with unhealthy methods (such as purging).
Recent statistics show it is the most common eating disorder in the U.S. and affects both women and men of multiple age groups; estimates indicate BED is over three times more common than bulimia and anorexia combined.
