I agree with Irene when she says there is a strong link between creativity and technology. My 6th grade pupils work in etwinning projects and they have used some of the tools mentioned by her: voicethread, glogster..

Voicethread is a great tool for students as it is a very collaborative one.
I also tried to work with scratch as Kurt says but my students found it difficult.

I don’t know all the technology tools presented by Irene and Kurt, but I’m going to use some of them as soon as possible. I think webtools are really useful to develop creativity and collaboration in the classroom. Students are attracted by apps and use them for different purposes. So making use of them at school is a good teaching opportunity. Moreover students often find school to be boring and meaningless: using apps or webtools they can be active, not passive, and can understand content more deeply, remember what they learn and apply what they know and can do to new situation practically not only theoretically.

My students and I participated in some eTwinninig projects, so we tried to use various tools which helped in creating their creativity. They were very happy when they succeeded in creating either a video presentation, or writing something in Padlet, Linoit... These tools also inspire them in some new ideas.

Very useful input! Web 2.0 tools strongly appeal to learners; I think they make them feel that we are not really having a lesson and, therefore, motivate them. I personally haven't tried out the ones mentioned but I'll definitely doit in my e-twinning projects.

I know nothing about programming or audio apps, yet… but I already used MovieMaker in video edition and I also like Picktochart and Canvas, to do posters. The pros for using the technology tools are the development of creativity, among others possible, concerning key skills. The cons can be the fact that many have Pro accounts payed, some can be very difficult to use, thinking about those only in english language, or demand ICT knowledge that a lot of teachers just don’t have.

I like the technological tools are described in the video, and especially to use some of them in my classes. I use Edmodo, and Padlet for resentations and collaborative work, but often find it difficult to use these echnological tools because not all teachers use them and the students are not accustomed to them. creativity certainly increases because you have the tools to provisions that allow us to develop the capacity of reason or imagination, creative talent, inventiveness.

Just as Kurt mentionned it, there's a bunch of tools to help students develop their ideas. I'm more focusing on the result, they can use their own devices to achieve the project I propose (video editor, ebook editor ...). What Luis Veloso underlines about creativity and creating is absolutely relevant to my mind. As a math teacher, I have a weekly lesson about problem solving and my students can use the tools they want to complete and then present it ... and I totally accept traditional solving, with very few technology apps, as well as those who chose the support of ITC - provided the proposal is logical and convincing.

I Know some digital tools that promote and support creative thinking and expression, such as StoryboradThat, Prezi, Storybird or ThinkLink, but I usually use Glogster that allows students and educators to create interactive online posters that include text, photos, videos, graphics, sounds and much more. Like the teachers in the two videos, I think that technoloy is very useful to develop creativity among students through collaboration activities and that flexible learning spaces are more appropriate to do such activities. Even if there aren't learning spaces in my school, every day I try to create them in my classroom. There are different tools we can use to support collabotation activities and I always use them in my classroom. My students work collaborating with each other and in this way they find learning easier and more interesting. I use PBL in my lessons and I must say that this learning approach helps students to develop creative problem solving. They often find together creative solutions they wouldn't have found, if they hadn't worked alone.

I would you like to use the tablets in my classroom, so I am trying a solution to realize this. My students use the padlet, but every one has got a personal padlet so I think if they bring the tablet in the classroom I will teach the use of the web tools like Titanpad, popplet, canva, Kizoa, toondoo, the fantastic tool for educator and so on. When the children grow is important to give links in google drive for example or on Slack so they can realize in group a work and build learning theirself.

I strongly agree that technology gives more chances for creativity to our students and that collaboration makes people more creative because each single persons’ skills are multiplied. I also agree with Kurt that the vast majority of collaborative and other teaching apps we use belong to the following categories: cloud office-like tools (like Google Docs, Cloud Editions of MS Office 2010 and newer etc), video tools, audio recorders and processing tools (like Audacity and the tool referred to the 2nd video), tools for creating e-books and e-magazines and simple program languages. I would also like to refer to the importance of the last category, to which belong Scratch and QBasic, for introducing effectively young students to computer programming and making them more creative. My students like working collaboratively on Presentations Spreadsheets on cloud applications, e.g. Google Docs, which are accessible even from smartphones and tablets. Also, they love using the camera as tool for creating small videos for their projects, which are then improved by a video processing program before uploaded to YouTube. The main disadvantage of all cloud applications is that they require a good high-speed network (either LAN or WI-FI), which is not always accessible in Greece.

I think that technology can really enhance students' creativity, especially if combined with cooperative work. The main problem can be the fact that these are usually time-consuming activities, but also that they need computers or tablet at school/home, Internet connection and their parents' approval.

This year my pupils have worked on e.books and infographics for their projects. First I had suggested https://www.storyjumper.com , https://storybird.com/ , http://www.sfogliami.it/, https://www.canva.com/create/infographics/, but they also found and tested: http://fliphtml5.com/free-ebook-publisher.php, https://www.powtoon.com/, https://www.easel.ly/, http://vizualize.me/. Charismatic teachers can be really creative.. i dont consider myself charismatic, I;m a teacher trying to do his best given the circumstances. Being creative can be hindered by difficult working conditions and problematic collaboration with stakeholders.

Our pupils are called click generation, because of this fact we have to change the way of teaching. My students like learning languages with quizlet ( www.quizlet.com). It is so easy that they can create themselves learning materials with words from each unit. Nowadays we need to be creative. Many of the complex problems we face in our everyday lives require new and creative solutions so it is important that we cultivate creativity as a valued skill in our classrooms.

In fact, creative problem solving was an element looked at in the most recent PISA test results.

Creativity can be developed in a huge variety of ways, many of them not using technology. But technology often provides completely new ways of interacting with existing content or creating new content thereby providing students with new ways to express their creativity. Furthermore, with technology also offering us new forms of collaboration, an important ingredient of a creative exchange of ideas.

In my opinion creativity is about being excited with a new way of thinking or piece of information and having dreams or plans with this new thing and designs in practice. I agree with Kurt Klynen in video 2 'I love to learn with them'. New generation students are digitital natives of our world so they are more capable of using technological tools than us, at least in our country. They demand using these tools collaboratively on their own. As it is stated in video 2 ,sometimes even a camera is enough to make collaboration and be creative. The only thing we need is to protect them one way of thinking and encourage them about expressing themselves in different ways and we should catch the instant lightening hididen in their expressions.

I've been reading a lot about programming and coding, but never really got enthusiastic about it, until checking the tool 'scratch' which sounds absolutely interesting to me. It is wonderful to use how many tools there are and how well some teacher already implement them in their teaching. Glogster also sounds like a must try! Especially for project-based, collaborative scenarios . I also know 'explain everything' ,but up to today I've never been able to use it in my classroom. I believe that if the tools are used on principles of didactics, there are no con's really other than possible pricing, or low batteries on the devices :)

When we are talking about pros and cons, the only con I see is when the teacher is trying to use a new tool without trying it by him/herself, or if it doesn´t fit in the activity and it has no positive impact in the learning process
I try to use some of the examples presented in the videos. To communicate individually with my students, usually I use Facebook messenger or Whatsapp. When I want to say something to the all class I use email. About the tools, I like Glogster a lot and so do my students. They are also very fond of Kahoot, but they also use Tricider, Quizlet. There are so many fantastic tools! Last school year I told my students to do a Padlet where they should write all the tools they know and write a small evaluation about it in order to make easier a second decision. We also use Powtoon, Emaze, Adobe Spark (they no longer use Prezi, they say it´s old fashioned!) for the presentations, Google - drive, docs, forms, slide, and many others.

In the videos we saw two teachers who have been working on the topic of creativity in the classroom share their favourite technology tools to support creativity in the classroom. Irene Pateraki is an active teacher on the eTwinning network working in an eTwinning group called "Creative Classroom" that i’m a member, and Kurt Klynen is a teacher and teacher trainer who ran the "Creative use of Multimedia" workshop at the Future Classroom Lab.

Irene Pateraki presented excellent tools. I stayed quite interested, although i knew the names i didn't use them yet.

I'm a Maths teacher and I completely agree with Kurt Klynen when he say that you can be very creative in Maths, infact, for example, a student can a solution to a problem in three steps and another in five/six steps.

In this course I am learning a high number of new tools that I haven’t used yet in my classroom.

I think that all of them would improve all the experiences with student’s learning activities . I am encouraged to start them because I have listened to theses videos. There is another tool that we use for presentation: it’s called powtoon.com.

I like eTwnning very much although the projects I took part in were very small, and tha large one unfinished. eTwinng in Poland offers a lot of online courses (A week with ...) which learn how to work with different ICT tools and apps. Glogster is very attractive for students but it is paid.
I think that I will use Mahara eportfolio (I learned about it in the latest tweets). I could be very useful for organising a project with another institiution, eg NGO.
And I recommend Blendspace.

For a work about diversity in our country, my class an I have decided to invent a story about "mozzarella" a typical Italian cheese. Every student has posted his own idea on Padlet and has voted by ranker.com. The story most voted has been reworked by students in group. They have drawn the characters and we are preparing to animate them by Scratch. In this way we have tried to improve creativity trough collaboration and technology.

Or they create videos with some pictures (animoto, fantashow) or present an activity with padlet or power point. The examples presented are phenomenal, at least for us who are now implementing collaborative work. It is very difficult to select this or that application because there are so many and we do not have the time we need to explore them. And we already realized that when we wanted to do a lot we started to lose focus. If this happens to us who are adults, so does the students. However, being of the zap generation, they reveal much more easily than we do to manipulate them and manage through technology to develop their creativity. Genially - looks very nice. It can make interactive presentations and posters. There are free templates. It is not that easy to use at the beginning, which can be disappointing. ( Powerpoint is easier to use.)
It has a collaborative mode, more students can be logged into one concrete presentation BUT THEY CANNOT WORK AT THE SAME TIME. IT SHOWS THAT IT IS OCCUPIED BY ONE STUDENT. IT IS BAD.

GLOGSTER - we like it but it is PAID. 1 teacher can have 120 students accounts and can put them into groups.

KAHOOT is great!
- for quizes
- T or students can make a quiz
- it has many uses in the classroom- for eliciting / revision,..

JOOMAG - to publish on online magazine. We use it in eTwinning.
- version with ads in the side is for free and the ads are not terrible
- you upload a PDF into it and that is it
- you can create it in it in a team, but we do not use this so that students are surprised what the other team has written
- every issue one country is responsible for it, we take turns
- this team can add there things directly in the joomag
- you can have subscribers

I'm a member of Irene's eTwinning group. I agree with her when she say that we can be more creative working together.

Drawlite is new for me, but I've heard earlier about voicethread and glogster - they seem very interesting.
I like to work in moviemaker but I would like to have more time to explore all these apps and tools (like bookcreator).

I have used some of these apps (Glogster) and my pupils could work creatively, I need to explore more the others. I agree with Kurt, when said about choose some apps that could improve creativity, not experiment all of them in our lessons.

I agree with both teachers. While working together students can create, elaborate, exchange ideas, show full potencial of their creativity. I am also a member of Creative Classromm at eTwinning. It is excellent group of creative and hardworking teachers. I have heard of these apps, Voicetread and Drowlite, but I am unfamiliar working in it. My students have been using Glogster for individual and group presentation of their projects like, recently, Historical figures of our homeland. In our extracuriculum activities we create classroom digital newspaper using ISSUU platform so this app Bookcover seems very interesting. Definitlly, will try this with my students.

I am a twinner and I like working in eTwinning project. I agree both teachers. Students are more creative if working together and technology allows them to materialize the " learning by doing".
I use a lot of tools: Padlet, Animoto, PosterMyWall, Magisto, Powtoon, piZap, Thinglink, Kahoot, google drive, Prezi, Slide Shere, Scratch...

I like Kurt’s idea about creativity“…Being creative also is bending the rules seeing if it’s possible or not…” and I agree that creativity is improved if learners work together and that technology can stimulate it. I believe it is necessary for students to show what they have learned in the work groups not only to evaluate their work but also because at this stage, they can express their creativity in communicating and spreading it.

I think creativity should be a powerful skill in our lessons. I agree with both teachers. if we connect creativity and collaboration we can make better and more important things. We improve our teaching-learning process and we raise our students motivation. Technology tools are a great help to get it. I have never used that tool but I they are great and I am going to try them.

I first find out this tools when I became o member of eTwinning and I needed them in our projects. Great tools and it seems to me they are endless, becaming easier and easier to work with them. Yes, yes they are contributing to the development of creativity but not always alone and not only. We didn't have in our early age acces to so much technology and tools but we were not deficitary in creativity. Technology and the tools they are giving us is just a way but not the only.

I like to push the limits of creativity and challenge my students whenever possible. On the other hand I know that they consider themselves many times superior in what technology is concerned, and I like to let them teach me and the others different ways for accomplishing a task; it just gives them the feeling that they are equal and can be relaxed.

Technology and Creativity are a cocktail! If you are creative and you have a tablet or a Smartphone you can create something super.
I use all the tools the two teachers explain and I use a lot of others apps.

I totally agree with both the teacher. Creativity is improved when working together and by brainstorming. Padlet is a nice app which I often use to share ideas and brainstorming, and also moviemaker, which can help students to develop and create video projects, also adding texts and music.

I think that tecnology can improve creativity, there are a lot of tools, all very god for this purpose. My students like creating movies so they often use Movie Maker. It's easy to use and efficient.

The best way with wich I have used tecnology and creativity together was two yars ago when I have used SCRATCH with my students.
We ha ve partecipated in a competition about CODING and it was needed to use SCRATCH.
We have amused ourselves all hugeone and we have learnt more things.

I believe that one of the key competences to be acquired at school and creativity. It develops in the classroom by creating a positive atmosphere in which it promotes the exchange and collaboration among students.

Creativity is like a muscle that needs to be trained constantly. Technology is fueling this workout through different channels. In the third class of primary school I started using Thinkercad to design objects from Stampar with the 3D printer. Children have great potential. Starting from simple shapes can design alternative solution through problem posing and problem solving.

I love online tools. I have used "drowitlive" but it is not so easy for kids to draw with a mousor in digital board. I look forward to use "gloster". I really like "meetingwords" . We write online poems with my etwinning parteners and we choose for tittle in "answergarden".
